How do you focus?
I'm hoping some of you could give me some ideas on how you stay focused and on track.
I printed out some calendars, both daily and monthly,, and I scheduled in all my calls and time for creating content, and working on my website, how much time to spend here on WA, etc...and I'm still having a problem staying on track.
Even with everything written out I miss calls ...I need an alarm. I get wrapped up in one project and don't quit when it's time for the other.
I could use a good solid plan. I'm on the computer all day long and still not getting done what needs to be done. And it's not because of social media. There has to be something I'm not doing.
Give me your ideas...those of you that are organized. How do you do it?
Is anyone else like this or am I just totattly undisaplined. Or am I just trying to do too much at once? HELP!!

My thoughts are I think we are all like this from time to time. There is nothing wrong with you. We all drift into other things while working but things are getting done though aren't they.
You have the right idea just give it time and keep working at it. You will develop a schedule that will make sense to you. Keep doing what you are doing and you will make things work.
I would also pick days to do certain things on that day that way that will give you the time to do what you need to and get things done.

Thanks for your input. And your right...it's possibly just the way I'm looking at things. Seems like after I posted that some of the pressure was relieved. Perhaps I just needed to get it out there, but I know my organizational skills is an area I need to work on.
Just keep added and things will come together for you. For every small milestone, you accomplish gets you closer to your ultimate milestone.

I wish I could help. You sound like you have everything planned out to a tee.
Do prioritize your tasks? Things like researching and writing posts are hard for me to set a predetermined amount of time.
Whatever you do don't get discouraged keep pushing ahead.
Prioritize...I think I do. I just wonder if I need to let some things go. I try to listen to mastermind group everyday, work on my niche part of the day, create content or do research, do a training and work on website, increase my technical skills, participate in zooms and calls, and keep up with business...everyday. I don't know if I'm trying to cram too much into the day or if I need to let something go, or if I'm just too much all over the place.
You might be trying to cram too much into a day, try shifting things for a day or two and see if that helps. I know my wife makes a list of things to do each day but she puts so much on it that she never accomplishes it all and then gets frustrated feeling like she didn't do enough. It sounds like you have good priorities maybe the discouragement is just messing with your mind.

maybe use your Google agenda or any agenda and just plan your day in there. Even can plan in Task and reminders if this helps
