In the last 10 days I remembered the importance of staying focused and true to your business.

When I first join WA, late February 2019, within one week I felt that I could rewrite the whole internet, that I learned so much that building a business will be a piece of cake.

Of course, the whole world, not just the business world, is not easy. It cannot be mastered quickly and the world sure put me in my place. It slapped the naivety out of me and woke me up.

The important thing is that I learned from this failure.

There is ALWAYS something new to learn

My first website's outlay seemed perfect to me. Oooooh vanity. It was far from it and it isn't perfect still. There is no such thing.

I thought it was and I was kind of sitting on my ass and expecting amazing results. I started really pumped-up, but I deflated within 3 weeks.

So about 10 days ago I reevaluated the whole situation and objectively analyzed my work. It was... crap (in my perspective). I watched the lessons again, I reread my content, analyzed the outlay and there was room for A LOT of improvement.

I treated this business like I should've from the beginning, a business. That means I had to stay focused on the work, do my best, be professional and further my expertise on my niche.

You get nowhere without hard work!

So I started to really put some elbow grease in it. No more mindless scrolling Facebook during work time, no more useless Google Analytics checking, just focused work.

Google Adsense wouldn't even let me join. :( After I made my website better, it welcomed me with open arms. I am now officially making money and I couldn't be happier.

The point, and what all of us need to remember, is to keep the eye on the prize and work hard!

Thank you all for the help and for your posts that got me through so dark times, when I wanted to quit!
