My Three Tips for Article Writing

Hey everyone! So I'm in the process of adding some organization to my website, as well as content and I thought I might share a few tips for developing articles for any niche. They are as followed:

1) Research and Use Personal Experience- Of course a niche should be based on something you have an interest in, but you may also be able to gather more information on your niche to expand your own knowledge on your niche. Researching is key to becoming well-rounded and knowledgeable on your topic. The window of knowledge is open. By researching you can find out new information on your topic, as well as new ideas based on other people's ideas that are also providing information on your topic. There's nothing like being able to connect with someone who shares the same interests as you and sharing your own personal experiences with others as well.

2) Read and Proofread- Go to the library and check out some books. Search the internet for books or articles relating to your niche to develop your own articles. Reading is fundamental. That saying sticks with you because it is the honest truth. You never know how much you can learn by reading and opening your mind to multiple possibilities. With that being said once you begin writing these articles, make sure to proofread. To me it's nothing more frustrating than piecing together what someone is trying to relay through their writing. By proofreading you can catch errors that can throw your audience off and trust and believe that they will be thrown off and ready to go to another website with more credible information-which brings me to point 3.

3) Give credit- Credibility is a must. I always read an article and then click on its author to see exactly who they are. Are they a professional in the field? Even if they aren't, is their writing clear and is their information accurate? People want to know these things- especially when they are looking for feedback on a subject or about to invest their money into something. If you aren't a professional site your sources- the places where you are getting your information from and make sure those sources are credible. That shows reliability.

These three tips are quite useful for writing effective, trustworthy articles- after all that is how you build a following!
