Ok, Thank you!

Just google your niche + affiliate programs or health affiliate programs and search through them until you find the one you like. Certain products have affiliate programs too.

Few days ago I looked at this blog by @ChrisGruno. This is the blog:

We people have really short attention span for the things that don't interest us but for something that did we are much wanting to learn everything with it. It's a good thing to write short blogs but make sure it hits the point else it won't do any good either. Don't be hindered by the word counts. Write it until you feel that you're visitor would be satisfied with it. We write blog to help and deliver values to begin with. Right?

Thanks, I agree!

Thanks. Best of luck.

I say that 500 words is a perfect size with 3 or 4 images

Thank you!

Hi Siddiq, in my opinion, for what it's worth, unique and high quality content that contains 500-600 words and the information that a visitor to your site is looking for, is more likely to hold their attention than a 1000-1500 word article that rambles on and on just to fill up some space.

Thank you, my thoughts exactly!

I generally shoot for 500 words minimum, and try to make it readable by having a lot of white space.

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind!

I guess I've tried for 1,500 to 2,500 and maybe some of my stuff is technical, but I hear what you're saying and tend to agree. Yoast SEO seems to agree with you too.

Thanks for your opinion. How many words you usually prefer in your article?

I usually sit around the 1,500

I like to write long articles because it does seem to give them more "weight" with Google. However, if you're worried about people not reading the entire article, there's nothing stopping you from having a call to action under the first or second paragraph. In fact, it's kind of foolish to NOT have one in my opinion.

Thanks!

I think if your articles are going to be shorter, do more of them. Really split things up, so you don't cover anything, but the issue you're discussing in that article. Don't go too much into anything else.

If you cover too many sub-issues in an article, I think it could be overloaded with info that could possibly be too far away from your original topic.

So just make sure you spend those 400-500 words on exactly what you originally wanted to write about. That's one of the dangers with short articles.

So just make sure you don't follow onto other topics in the article. Short and to the point can be wonderful, but only if you have said all you've wanted to. Don't be too focused on the word count.

Cheers! Jennifer

Thank you!

I say as long as it takes. If you write compelling articles, use easy to understand walk- throughs, descriptions and analogies without wasting words in an attempt to make your article longer, then people will read them. If you can explain something in 200 words, stop counting. Just don't inundate your page with more affiliate links than content.

When you're finished writing your article, reread it. But put yourself in the place of someone else. Would that someone else read all of it? Would they have the information they came for? Or would they read two sentences and leave because it reads as though you're just trying to sell them something? You'll know when it's finished.

Thanks. About how many words you'd say are right for your articles?

I would say make it long enough to convey the points you are trying to make. Sometimes that may result in a long article. Sometimes a short one.
Xin

Thank you. How many words on average you prefer for your articles?

I honestly think that as long as you have all the necessary information included, 750-1000 words is just fine. I've been ranking with less than that at times. Geoff. The friendly fisherman.

Thanks. Just about how many words you'd say are right for your articles?

No set rule. As many as needed. At least 300, unless it's a page for organizational purposes.

I am curious to know if I want to take a break from WA premium membership and want to return after a few months. How can I take off WA premium membership and how can I log bac

Question; How do I terminate my premium? I'm thinking of pausing too. Thanks

Hmmmm.... I'm learning some stuff here.

We all are!

Yes, and I think it's wonderful we have each other to bounce off of. I just feel like a dork. I had no idea siterubix wasn't run by WA until I read the comments below.. Shows how illiterate I am. It's good to know that we can keep it after premium is cancelled.

I send an email to Kyle and few other "Ambassador" level people on WA. They said whether it is Siterubix or any purchased domain will be deleted after 30 days if WA premium is cancelled, unless moved to another host site. So unfortunately, we can't keep any of our sites after 30 days after premium is cancelled. But you can import your stuffs on your Siterubix or domain.

Just keep in mind if you have your website hosted with WA you'll have 30 days to move it to another host. You won't be able to login to your profile here at WA, but you can continue working on your site for up to 30 days.

Once you transfer it to another host, you can still work on it from there. I hope this helps Siddiq and I'll talk to you soon.

~Scott~

Thanks, someone said, if its a website hosted by WA it will be deleted after 30 days. But If it is a SiteRubix website then I can keep it without being deleted if I cancel my WA premium. What do you say?

Hi Siddiq,

If you still are on the SR websites, you should be able to still login to them without an issue if you cancel premium. Since these websites were given to you before you joined premium.

You would just need to keep track of your username/ password and login to them outside of WA if you would decide to temporarily pause your membership for any reason. I'm glad that you aren't leaving WA Siddiq and I hope this has helped answer your question.

~Scott~

Thanks. I just really needed to know if my SR site would be active even if I cancel my WA premium; so I can write my contents on my site with more peace of mind now that I have some solid ideas without worrying about the monthly subscription. Once I more or less have my site in order(soon, I hope), then I will come back to WA premium. Another question, can I still read other's blogging on WA as I do now, if I cancel my premium?

No problem Siddiq,

Have you got your niche problem sorted out and been able to narrow down your niche to 1 topic yet? I would hate to see you leave without at least coming up with a direction for your site.

If you're worried about making the monthly payments and you can afford it, we do have a yearly membership option that's a whole lot cheaper than the monthly membership.

This comes out to only $359 for the year and it's highly discounted at 36% off of the monthly membership over the course of a year. This is a savings of $205 and comes out to only 98 cents per day.

Just something to keep in mind if you're looking to minimize your costs and focus on building your business instead of worrying about how you'll come up with your payment each month.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions or need my help.

~Scott~

I think I have my niches narrowed down enough(so far). I have some solid ideas about putting my articles or pages in order. I am also having to go to school, so not being able to devote as much time as I'd like to content writing. My head feels jammed up, so I need to clear my head a bit more so I can write quality content! Also someone wrote this comment about backing my SR contents because it will be deleted after 30 days.

"Use Tools==> Export to save your posts, pages and comments on your computer. Then, when you come back, you can start again without having to re-write everything. You will use Tools==> Import on your new site to get your posts, pages and comments back again."

Where is this "Tools==>" buttons? Also, can I still read other's blogging on WA as I do now, if I cancel my WA premium?

Sounds good Siddiq!

I can totally understand having to go to school and juggle the many other things that life throws your way. It can get pretty hectic and limit the time you spend on writing content for your site.

I hope you can get things sorted out and clear your head so that you can focus on creating quality content.

~Scott~

Thanks, would you mind telling me Where is this "Tools==>" buttons to back up everything on my SR site, as someone mentioned?

In your Wordpress dashboard go to tools on the left and then go to export. Click on all content and click download export file. This will download the contents of your website and save it as an XML file to your computer.

Make sure you save this file to somewhere that you can access it easily and don't have to search for it. You should see it on the bottom left once it downloads. Right click on the file and choose open file location. Simply drag and drop it wherever you would like to save it on your computer.

I hope this helps Siddiq
~Scott~

Hi Siddiq,

If you need to take a break for a couple of months to get things sorted out you can do this and stop the payments for right now.

You can come back when you feel you're ready to spend more time here and give WA the time and attention needed to be successful here.

To cancel your account and temporarily stop payments simply go into your account settings and scroll down to subscription settings. To the right of membership, you'll see a link that says manage. Click on that and you should see a big red button that says stop billing and close account.

You can stop your payments here and close your account until you're ready to come back.

Here's the direct link here https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/membership/manage

I'm sorry to see that you're leaving WA and it's been a pleasure working with you thus far. I look forward to your return and working with you in the near future.

Cheers
~Scott~

I am not leaving WA. I mostly just want to know if my SiteRubix website will still be on and if I can still write and edit contents on my SiteRubix if I cancel my WA premium membership?

You can deactivate your premium membership by going into the Account Settings and clicking manage under the Membership line. My understanding is, once you're a free member, you're always a free member. So your option would be to Stop Billing and Close Account. When you're ready to come back again, you can reopen your account.

As Marion said, you'll have 30 days to move your site to another host, as they'll delete your domain at the end of the 30 days and you'll lose that content.

Thanks. Mine is still SiteRubix website. Will it stay on WA or Or will it be deleted if I temporarily cancel my WA premium membership?

That's a good question. I know starter members receive 2 free ones. I have no idea what happens to the SiteRubix sites when closing an account. I'd hope premium members get to keep at least two. I'd be interested in finding out that myself.

I hope Kyle or Carson have an answer for that question soon!

The free starter membership is just for a trial. I don't know of any program which allows you to have a trial version twice (including WA). You won't be able to work on your website if it's hosted at WA. You will have 30 days to move your site to another host where you can continue to work on it.

I am not asking to go back to starter membership. If I take a break from WA premium membership and if I have my website link and password saved in some word documents. Can I log into my site from that word document and write my content and save them?

No. Your website will continue to be hosted for ONLY 30 DAYS after you cancel your membership. Once the 30 days are up then your website will be deleted from the servers.

Ok, Thanks. My only have just one site and my site is still SiteRubix website. Someone just told me that if its a website hosted by WA it will be deleted after 30 days. But If it is a SiteRubix website then I can keep it without being deleted even if I cancel my WA premium. What do you say?

NO! Your siterubix site will be deleted after 30 days because you will not be a member of WA until you return to your premium membership.

Really? Because I am getting conflicting massages about that from different people.

Really. Do you want to take that chance? Use Tools==> Export to save your posts, pages and comments on your computer. Then, when you come back, you can start again without having to re-write everything. You will use Tools==> Import on your new site to get your posts, pages and comments back again.

Thanks. So far, I just have a few articles and couple headlines for future articles. Where is this "Tools==>" button? Another question, can I still read other's blogging on WA as I do now, if I cancel my premium?

Tools is in your Dashboard menu

No Siddiq ,

Once you are Premium You can never go back to being a starter member.

You can however come back again as a Premium member after taking a break from WA.

Does that answer you question my Friend?

Tony

I know I can't go back to starter membership. I just want to know how I can take off the WA premium membership and how I can come back?

Siddiq,

Click your picture in the top right corner then click account settings and then subscription. Cancel your subscription, then when you want to come back you can log back in and pay for Premium membership. Your website will need to be hosted elsewhere as Marion indicated if it is now hosted by WA. If it is a SiteRubix website then You can keep it and be fine.

Does this help Siddiq?

Tony

Thank you. Mine is still SiteRubix website. Will it stay on WA and can I work on my contents if my SiteRubix ID and password are saved in word documents. Or will it be deleted if I temporarily cancel my premium membership?

I'd like to get some idea about health niche. Health is a very broad niche and I'd have to write from my personal experience and interest. So, My experience and interest would

Hi Siddiq, I am just starting my blog, but I have health as a niche. It is how to use foods to help lose weight, slow aging, and get healthy, and what foods to stay away from. I would suggest writing about an aspect of health that you have had success with. In other words, if you want to write about hair loss, and you have had success with a product or process that has helped you to keep your hair, you could use that, and then monetize it with products that have worked for you, or for others that you know about.

Thanks for your comments. Have you started your site yet? Its not just hair, I ones I mentioned that I want to write about the heath aspect; I have personal experience with them. My metabolism is very fast, so I have no experience with weight gain(hopefully never!). For me, it would be mostly about the the process, rather than product reviews. There will obviously be some products, but mostly process based.

Yes, I just bought the domain foodsreducebellyfat.com from WA a few days ago. I have been adding content to it in my spare time. Should have it ready to publish in a week or so. Haven't decided yet whether I will have the domain forwarded to the affiliate site or not. Would like to do both, but don't believe it is possible.

Greetings to you Siddiq007 and welcome to Wealthy Affiliate. The Health niche is very broad. Use that as a keyword search and make your choice(s) from there. What do you want know about it, describe your personal experience and how you overcame them or trying to overcome them. Write, Write , Write. Search, Search, Search some more. Use the keyword tool here at WA do the lessons and mostly be consistent and Patient with your self. Have a good hunt. Hope my comments have help you.

Thanks for your comments. Happy hunting to you too!

Good choice as health is so important and profilactic!!!

Yes, my niche is natural diabetic remedies.

Great, I had high sugar level few times and the fear of diabetics. Thankfully I didn't. I'd love to right a few things about that too. Would you mind sharing your site with me, so I can get some idea?

My website is naturaldiabeticremedies.com

Thanks, you site looks good!

I represent a line of holistic products for dogs and cats, so my niche is health food for pets. I think it would be considered spam if I added the link here. If you'd like to check my site out, it's listed on my profile page. Hey, somebody has to represent our furry friends :-)

Good to know man! I agree with you.

I imagine any one of those subcategories would make a great niche. Hair loss for men seems quite popular. I've been hearing about that for decades. Hair loss for women is a bit underplayed though. Sometime is seems women don't get nearly the loving the need and tend to get overlooked when it comes to issues that men typically worry about.

True, but see, how many 35, 40 or 50 year old women you see with a large bold patch or with no hair on their heads? How many 45 year old men are totally bold or have bold patch? I grantee, you will find the difference is massive? I as a man, have the misfortune of seeing and knowing plenty of young guys at my age with large bold patch. Even though hair loss effects both men and women, men are at the most risk of becoming bold, so women's hair loss do get underplayed unfortunately! But I'd be sure to share my experience with hair loss problem, even though I have my full head of hair left!

I agree. You find men experiencing hair loss more often than men. And you'll likely want to blog about something you're passionate about. I was rambling for the most part about how the women's hair loss niche would probably be easier to rise up the ranks than a men's hair loss. Only because it's been done so much, there's probably quite a bit of competition.

On the other hand, folks are doing well in niches like weight loss, and that niche has been beat to death.

Greetings to you LRenee, and welcome to Wealthy Affiliate. Your first sentence about men experiencing hair loss more often than men? I gather you meant women. Yes there is an abundance of info about hair loss for men but there is also an abundance of info in the same category for women. Just look on the social media pages, YouTube, and like that. I have and found over 100 remedies for loss of hair in all ages of women and I believe you could find something helpful there. Let me know please if you found content, or ideas to stabilize your choice in the health niche. Hope that helps.

From my experience, mens and women's hair are not all that different and hair loss causes are more similar than different. I'd certainly share what I'd learned about it. Hopefully both men and women can benefit from it.

I used to have a natural healthy living niche but not anymore, since I found more people are interested in natural health and/or organic health remedies, cheers!

Thanks, would it be ok if I wanted to see your site to get some ideas?

OK I edited the question to narrow down my interest, that should help.

Health niche, is just too wide sir.. U have to narrow down your niche in a specific problem, or interest. To learn more on how to pick a niche, u can revisit Kyle's training.

I don't have a health niche, but I think it would be something that could get a lot of traffic. Did you have any particular area of interest?

I can't see my articles on my dashboard on wordpress. It only shows the number of words, but no words. All I see is a blank space in the writing area. Why is this happening

Hi this has happened to me three times in the past monthmso what you do is reboot your system and cleans all your casche and cookies
If this does not work go and have a cup of tea and come back in a hour that always seems to work

Thanks, its back to normal already!

Cool

Good to know just in case it happy to me. Thanks for asking this question.

It happens to me too, it's the visual editor that's playing up and needs to be fixed, cheers!

its fixed already, thanks!

My content shows up in the text tab, but not in visual tab. I tried what you asked, but didn't work, so I send a ticket to Website Help. When do you think they'll reply?

They usually reply to me within a few minutes and have the problem fixed. I've never waited longer than a half hour before.

Yes, they send me a reply asking me to send them a screenshot of my visual editor which I just sent.

Hi Siddiq,

It sounds like you are having trouble with your visual editor. Let me ask you something first, though. Does your content show up in the text tab, but not in your visual tab?

This is a common problem that seems to be happening to many people here at WA. This has also happened to me many, many times and I usually contact support and they have it fixed in no time.

There are a few things you can do first before contacting support which is flushing both your DNS cache and your browser cache. To flush your DNS cache click start if you're on windows 7 or if you have windows 8 you can enter it into the search box in your taskbar. type cmd into the search box and you'll be presented with the command prompt. click on this to open it up and type this command into the command prompt.

ipconfig /flushdns now press enter and you should receive a message like this Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

To flush your browser cache, if you are using Chrome, click on the 3 lines at the top right and go to history. From there, select how far back you want to go and click clear browsing data.

If neither of these things work, then I would contact support and let them know what's going on. Here's the direct link here https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

I really hope this has helped you Siddiq and please let me know if you have any further issues or need my help.

Cheers
~Scott~
