Hey guys, I'm still working on getting my website up and running. It's been a couple of weeks and I'm seeing everyone getting done pretty fast. I'm too particular and it's drivi

The good news is that it doesn't matter how long it takes you. The bad news is that building a website never really ends. It is an ongoing continuous improvement process. But you will get faster with experience. I am a slowpoke, so I can relate. ~Jude

You're fine. It has taken me 3 weeks to construct a single page.

It took me 6 weeks to write my first post so don't feel bad:)

Thanks everyone. I guess the thing that bothers me the most is I've been in network marketing for 5 years so it's not like I don't know about it. I just never had to build a website the correct way!....lol!

I'm going to take it easy and chill.....and not worry about everyone else. This perfection thing is outta here!

You guys ROCK! I love being here in this community!

Thanks again gang.

Hey Christine,

I'm going through the same thing except my problem is because I'm afraid to put myself out there in the world and wondering what others would think of me.

So, I made myself a plan and decided to follow the path that Kyle presented to me. On top of doing the Boot Camp I'm planning to write one article, one product review and one day of my 10 day series of free training for my new sign ups.

What is my training? I don't know and I don't care. I'm going to do this for 50 days straight.

I'm going to do these three writings simultaneously each and everyday for 50 days. I'm not going to worry about what others think of me or my site for 50 days.

And why for 50 days? Because you will have overcome what's stopping you and you will feel comfortable with yourself that it doesn't matter what others think. And also your site will get ranking and you'll be getting traffic.

This program is only 172 days long, I know that I can do this and so can you.

Keep up the good work and stay persistent with your goals and you will do well.

hi Christine i would not worry to much i am always working on my site to improve it while i am working on my reviews and a new site that i will be posting soon so take your time so you get it right

There is no time limit so you work at your own speed. You will make less mistakes!

Just take your own time at your own pace, don't look at what others do, just learn from what others do, you don't know their backgrounds, some have experience with particular website development and marketing subjects. Be proud on your own accomplishments, you'll get there on your own time:) Success!

Hey Christine,

I'm only new as well and I procrastinate and perfect constantly. It drives me nuts also. I think the main thing is to just put the information onto your pages. Following the training and sticking to it. Don't stress about the time but do try to set goals, for example, mine are to create 1 page in two days - because I work and have children so this is realistic for me.
Once the information is up there you can review it when you have time to go back and perfect it.
The thing is, it will never be perfect because basically you are still learning and the more you learn the more you can add along the way and improve things. That's just my opinion though. I am terrible at making up my mind and fuss over something for far too long.
Have you also shared your pages out there for feedback?

Hey Bect30,
No, I haven't even done that yet! You seem to have your bunnies in a row, and that's great. I'll have to get over myself!
Thank you,
christine

Hey Siciliaangal,
I totally understand what you are going through with building your site. I got as far as moving my domain name from Go Daddy to WA, and naming my website...I'm currently stuck on trying to figure out how to install a theme. I don't even want to think about writing content.
Hang in there and remember it's one day at a time.
Regards
Johnie

LOL....I hear ya Johnie. I love your name!

Don't be a perfectionist. Just do it! It's your first website and it doesn't have to be perfect. ~Marion

After I set up my website in the starter program, will I lose everything in it when I upgrade to Premium and change my domain? Thank you in advance.

Hi, no you will lose nothing after upgrading to premium, in the next lesson, you will keep the same old config, changing your domain is you choice, you can keep everything as it is, and if you want, you can change your domain, that's up to you, the lesson will only tell you how to do it, but it is not an obligatory thing

Thank you answering my question and explaining so thoroughly.

No you will just have to simply change it over using the guide from site rubix. Really easy to do. There is a tutorial on how to do it.

Awesome....thank you for the help.
