2 Weeks In WA
Well I've been here for two weeks now and I get more and more excited each day. My website is coming along very nicely. I am starting week 3 lesson 1 in training this afternoon and I can't wait! I've been absolutely blown away at how much I've learned here. After I complete training I want to do the affiliate bootcamp and see if I can start making some money.
My first website isn't about making money, it is about raising awareness. I've tried brainstorming some ways to potentially make money from it but I decided not to. I think it would cheapen what I'm trying to do with that particular website. However, I am open to any ideas you can share with me! I am going to focus on the affiliate program for making money.
As soon as I complete training I would like to build another website. I don't want to go all crazy and create tons of websites (as training said no more than 3 or 4) but I do have a couple ideas for niches in the near future. So that being said, I would love some input on my website and any advice you can offer is most welcomed. Thank you so much!

I started a WA affiliate website and a passion niche website. I was considering not monetizing my passion website (recovery from addiction and alcoholism) and have since changed my mind. I don't think it will cheapen it at all, quite the contrary. I can point other addicts in the right direction to help them find recovery AND make an income from it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, as long as of course the items I promote are really what I believe in and will help people.
I have come across so many affiliate programs where I could make great money in this niche but the products go completely against what I believe in. Considering addiction is really a matter of life and death I would never promote something I think could do more damage than good.
Maybe that will help you see things in a different light? But it really doesn't matter, you can do your passion niche and never monetize it for whatever reason. Maybe in the future you decide you want to, you can always do that then :)
Thank you so much! I do get what you're saying and I agree. I would like to make an income from my site but I don't know how. I think what my problem is is that I can't come up with anything I can promote via affiliate. Like you said it has to be something I agree with.

I struggled with it and I wrote a blog and asked for suggestions and feedback. I got so many ideas I honestly don't even know where to start now! Give that a go. There are people here that have so much experience and are really willing to help you out.
