What you need to know so your content reaches the right audience.

Here we are guys!

I will not keep you long.

As you can see from the image above I have written over 15,000 words since joining WA and 12 articles have been published and more than 93% of WA members this month. My site has been ranked on Google and I have had an article ranked on Google, Yahoo and Bing - but I am asking you is what I am I writing getting to the right audience?

Is what am I writing making difference?

Is what I am I writing what people want to read?

Is what I am I writing helping someone with a problem or issue they are facing?

Is what I am I writing reaching the right audience?

Is what I am I writing making money?

I am sure that you could ask a lot more questions and I am sure that over the time you have and to be quite honest and I will be here, I have read some rubbish and I ask myself, why are people writing, when they clearly do not have a passion for it.

In order to write good content you have to have a passion for what you are writing about and you have to believe in what you are trying to accomplish, and if you do not, then stop!!

If you do not believe in what you are writing about, then you have no chance of convincing your audience or prospective customers that you do.

You know that in order to be successful (and this is not only online) but no matter what you are trying to sell, you have to believe.

Before I became a psychotherapist I taught business for many years so I understand the psychology of selling and convincing someone to want to buy. People don't always buy what they need, they buy what they want and that is what you have to do. You have to convince your buyers that they need what you are selling - that is the trick.

We buy food because we need it to sustain our lives, that is simple. But, convincing your buyers to buy something that they do not think they necessarily need is a different ball game.

As a psychotherapist I play a clever game of convincing my clients that what I am selling is not a product or service, although it is, because `I am the product and the service. What I am selling is different life. I am selling a life without pain and discomfort, I am selling a life without self-doubt and a life without fear and being caught up in an endless circle of despair, a life of not being able to move forward and achieve desires and dreams. I am selling a life without anxious thoughts and false brain messages, a life without second guessing, a life of getting up and moving forward, a life out of the darkness and these are only a few things that I am selling. I am convincing my clients that they need my products and services.

But all the above are dependent on my skills, knowledge, training, experience and one very important thing and that is my passion.
