Hi,
I tried to pin my wealthy affiliate link that is on my profile page and it is blocked stating that it could be spam. Do you happen to know how I can fix that?
you never add a link to an offer on any social media site. The training here is massively outdated. What you need to do is Use the link to your wealthy affiliate review. Or send a link to your website
Oh, I see! I was following the video posted by Kyle on creating a pin with the affiliate link we are provided.
Pinterest has changed the rules since then.
It is safer never to use your affiliate link directly. Link back to your website and give value. Social media sites will like you then. 😊

My wealthy affiliate link is viewed as spam on pinterest?

I don't put direct affiliate links to Wealthy Affiliate on Pinterest. All my pins link back to a post on my website.
Give value on your post; if a visitor likes your blog post and they want to follow through on your call to action (CTA), then they will click on your link to WA; this is perfectly OK with Pinterest (and other social media).

Hi friends,
Just curious if anyone has joined the Etsy affiliate program? It's prompting me to pay $5. I know in the training it suggests to stay away from programs that
I have dabbled in affiliate marketing last year, and i got hooked into paying fees to etsy, and a few others.
I have not signed up for any through WA. so I am not sure, but if they do charge I would not do it.
I've just checked right through Etsy's site and also Awin's (they run Etsy's affiliate program) and I couldn't find any reference to a fee.
At what point of time were you asked to pay and what is it supposed to be for?
That would be sufficiently sneaky to put me off, but you should wait to see if someone with actual Etsy experience gets back to you. Good luck with it.

Hey all, Do you happen to know what part of the training the affiliate disclosure is covered in?
I haven't gotten to that part, and I have affiliate links within some of my content now. I'm worried I missed something!
hey hi Amber & welcome to Wealthy Affiliate Premium!
It's all good -- all questions are good ones ....
here's a post that will help guide you to adding the disclosure by Loes -- she's an awesome WA member ....
hope you'll find it helpful ... all the best, cheerio ... ⭐️🎈 Add an Affiliate Disclosure
you're most welcome -- glad to be of help -- enjoy the amazing WA journey to success! .... cheerio ... ⭐️🎈
Yes you should and it will be covered in the training. I also have a line in every post toward the beginning that says this post may contain affiliate links...
The rules governing this have become much more strict, with everyone weighing in. Not just the official bodies, but also the individual merchants.
The short answer is you need both. A generic page with a menu linking to it and also specifics near the actual affiliate link.
Have a look at one of my sites
Specific: https://agingslowdown.com/the-best-anti-aging-skin-care-products/
Generic: https://agingslowdown.com/affiliate-disclaimer/ (reached from the footer menu.
Yes, you should definitely have one. I like most people create an affiliate disclosure page then link to it in the footer at the bottom of our site. This will be covered in the training as well. Hope this helps!
