Dealing with Debbie Downers

I have wanted to be apart of the natural health community for the longest time. Ten years in fact. I have done many jobs in the last decade - hostess, barista, technician - and I'm at the point where I'm done putzing around and want to get to what my heart is telling me is the right path. I have started down this path with Nikken, a company that I love dearly and has the ability to provide me the satisfaction of supplying natural remedies to people and be able to support myself financially. Theres only one problem.....

The Debbie Downers have arrived

Always seems like there is someone who wants to rain on your parade. You know that what you're doing is wise, but the way people tell it...you're completely off your rocker. Some people will straight up tell you you're foolish, that it's not a good path to go. The biggest question some of these people will ask: "But what if you FAIL?"

Then I fail.

They never seem to consider the chance that you might actually succeed.

Or that you're the master of your own destiny and negative input from the outside isn't necessary.

When you come across the downers, all you can do is stand firm and say "I'm going to prove you wrong"

Then go and prove them wrong.
