Hello WA! So, some of you may have seen me around and may have even interacted with me via WA or your own website. Now that I am reaching my 2 month mark since starting at WA and have graduated from the main training, I want to officially say HELLO to the community and introduce myself. I want to give a little bio on me - my progress so far and my goals from this point on!

As an only child, I grew up in a middle class family in a suburban community. I had a very blessed and decent childhood (of course, it wasn't perfect but nothing is). I was timid but observational - I took everything in. I loved all animals and aspired to be a Veterinarian. I had a pretty 'normal' hormononal, turbulent teenagehood lol. Despite my rebellious moments, I was in JROTC, enjoyed exercise and excelled academically. I graduated early from high school with a 3.9 GPA and went into college for digital design. I had an artistic side to me and enjoyed graphic design the most. I graduated but decided not to pursue digital design as a career due to it's competitive nature (and I admit...I'm not very competitive).

Unfortunately, I came into physical illness at 18 - developing mild scoliosis and sciatica and the pain associated with that. I fell into pain pill addiction to cope and my conditions only worsened. I ended up developing fibromyalgia due to the opiates and I believe other environmental factors. Through many struggles, I managed to escape my addiction before it ruined my life like so many people around me at the time (the pain pill epidemic was growing at that time). I found the healing benefits of holistic medicine like chiropractic and homeopathy. I also sought out knowledge in how to better improve my health, discovering the nightmare of chemicals, GMOs, sulfates, parabens and more. I learned a lot of the stuff I put on and into my body contributed to my illnesses on top of unhealthy lifestyle factors like poor diet and smoking. I also escaped that nasty habit too!

During my journey to better health, I also came back into Christ and re-devoted myself to Jesus. Through spiritual and physical revival, my journey to repairing my body, mind and soul and gaining better health began and I haven't looked back! However....my financial health is still a burden.

Today I am a 30 years young aspiring traveling entrepenuer fur-mom whom wears many hats at the moment. As I mentioned, I ended up not pursuing a career in digital design and instead got into healthcare and eventually, my passion, animal care. I am currently a vet technician of almost 7 years working at my local clinic with cats and dogs and have recently started my own pet sitting business. I am also currently a senior caregiver (previously CNA) for almost 5 years total - caring for the elderly. I greatly enjoy the outdoors and physical pursuits and strive to eat healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle. And I'm happy to report my sciatica is gone - my scoliosis nearly gone and my fibromyalgia improved and managed. I am one of the healthiest people I know! People around me are always tired and getting sick and here I am, thriving :). I owe it all to the knowledge i've gained and healthy habits I've implemented. I'm excited to share that with the world! And why not make money while helping others? It's a win win :).

Although I did not pursue digital design as a career, I have never really strayed from it. I continue to use Adobe for image editing and have periodically built websites for roleplaying. And even though I enjoy my work with animals and I have multiple rewarding jobs that I ultimately get paid decently for....I am still struggling financially. With bills, no benefits for any of my jobs, animals to take care of, living expenses and an accumulation of credit card debt over the years...I am only really surviving financially and not thriving. So my search for a miracle began (I always joke about needing to hit the lottery but I don't play so....there's that lol). One that didn't require me to go back to school and go into even more debt.

I was aware of blogging but wasn't ever interested in talking about myself (as I thought that's what blogging was!). I was interested in the entrepeunuer aspect of it, but not the action of blogging. I liked the thought of making money from it but not actually doing it. I also didn't think I could make any money from it because I mean....I'm not THAT interesting lol. That is when I discovered afilliate marketing and realized I didn't have to blog about myself necessarily or make money from social status (like a celebrity of some sort)....but my experiences and the knowledge I've gained that has helped me and that I can earn money from the very products I use and promote. I already love telling my friends and family about health related information and new products I've discovered - why not broaded my audience to include the whole world! And make money doing it? That is my desire and goal for my journey here - to combine my passions for digital design, helping others and health and turn it into a successful career that i can eventually travel with :). With that money I will travel and volunteer with animals and give back.

So far my experience with WA has been a very pleasant one. The community has been great - helpful and inspiring. The platform is amazing, having pretty much everything you need at your finger tips. The training has been valuable and has provided some new insights. I am overall impressed and extremely excited to continue on my journey here. So far my progress looks like this:

1. I have joined WA and upgraded to premium

2. I chose a niche, built my website and have a lot of quality content added

3. I completed the WA training

4. I have established my website on social media platforms

5. I have created and established an email newsletter for my website

6. My articles have been indexed in google

7. I now have access to google and bing webmaster tools and have successfully submitted sitemaps for my site

8. I am participating more in the WA commuinity

_____

Now that I have graduated from training, my goals look like this:

1. Continue to add quality content to my website and grow my website

2. Continue to share via social media and my newsletter and gain an audience

3. Start the WA affiliate bootcamp so I can eventually incorporate that into my website (which will be covered under financial health eventually)

4. Submit training to WA (I've got some ideas!)

5. Make money!

______

My end goal is to not only thrive physically, mentally and spiritually....but financially as well!

I greatly look forward to the journey ahead - Thank you WA and community!

Kind regards,

Sherry S.
