The Benefits of Being Consistent
Consistency is a major player in success. Sometimes it may seem like you are wasting your time and getting you no where, but in the end it will all be worth it!
This has proven true in my life in so many instances.
For example: when I got out of college I had about 50 lbs to loose, (bad eating and going to a few too many parties was the culprit!) But I made up my mind to loose it and once I made the decision, I stuck with it!
Often days I had to repeat to myself
-it takes 4 weeks for YOU to notice a change in your body
-it takes 8 weeks for your FAMILY and FRIENDS to notice and
-it takes 3 months for the rest of the world to notice.
Knowing this often kept me motivated to go to the gym and eat what I should eat instead of what I wanted!
The same is true for any goal you set for yourself.
Right now my goal is to keep building my website, keep getting visitors to my site to keep offering quality reviews. And to be honest, its harder than I thought it would be even though I am in a niche that I enjoy and find it easy to do research for new posts and pages! (I have a party game review site, so the research consists of playing the game and writing reviews)
Even though I enjoy the journey me and my website are on, there are many nights when I just want to relax with a book or scroll through my social media pages. But I don't let myself, consistently I work on my site everyday. I don't write content everyday, but I will do some training, or just look for new games to play. Everyday I keep myself involved and plugged in.
Daily dedication and positive thinking are going to pay off for me, I can feel it!!

You are correct that dedication and consistency will take you a long way. As long as you stay motivated it will pay off, but this is all a process. It definitely helps when you are motivated about the niche that you are in. However, like you said there are a ton of benefits if you can remain consist long enough to reap the rewards.
I am trying! Some days it feels hopeless, but then I just take some training or plug in with the community here, and my hope is renewed!!
