About SHeisey1

I am a Westcoast Girl. I was born there. I grew up there. I went to college there. One day I met a man from the East. It did not take too long before we were living in the East. We started a family, then we started moving. I lost count of all the homes when we had lived 32 places in 33 years. I must admit that not all the moves were to different states. Altogether since birth I have lived in 11 states and 3 foreign countries. We successfully raised 4 wonderful children.who married, and I now have 10 precious grandchildren! . I live in the southeast. I was told I will never be a Southerner, not in a lifetime. But we are still friends.

My income base is not very big.. I am retired, and retreading.

While checking out an online marketing program, reading reviews, I crossed paths with a program that had all positive reviews. It was the Wealthy Affiliate program. The price was better. The atmosphere was described as warm and friendly. So I decided to make the WA program my online family.

I think I shocked the members by setting my goals well beyond reach. They didn't know what to say to this ambitious girl who thought she could reach the MOON the day before yesterday! The Family are used to .encouraging new members to stretch! Reach a little higher! A few of them had the courage to tell me I had to be realistic in goal setting, or I might become discouraged.

So I have tamed my rhetoric. I hope to get my website running before my month membership is over. That might not happen. But I maintain a high monitary need and will persist. The family are doing really well making me feel at home in the WA community. Thank you, new friends. I will be trying to follow your tracks, even when the snow gets deep. God bless you all!

So awesome Shirley, I know from experience that goals are what lead us to success. Work relentlessly in pursuit of these goals and they CAN and WILL happen.

In fact, wipe failure out of your mind right now. It simply won't happen. You have too much help, support and an entire community of help behind you to ever let that happen :)

If you need anything going forward, just let me known and I will be happy to give you a hand.

Thank you Cassi. I also listened to some training.
I am half afraid to take the big step into my own domain.
I would like to get my siterubix with marketable opportunities so it can start rolling, however slowly., Yet I have not seen the training for linking and setting that up.

Shirley, I would HIGHLY recommend that you get your own domain ( a .com one preferably) and begin building your business.

There will never be a perfect framework.

Cassi,
Thank you for the advice. I need to find the training on and understanding links and linking tequniques so I can complete the business connections. I annot do that today .
Also, Am I to transport my siteRubix website to my own domain, or create a new one? Thank you for your advice.
Does that mean I must go Premium+? I cannot afford that right now, but nor unwilling. Maybe in a month I can afford a change, if that is what it takes.

Shirley, you do not have to upgrade to Premium Plus.
You have everything you need at Premium.

You will need to purchase a new domain if you do not have one already.
Then, transfer your content to the new site. Cassi

Thank you very much, DJ. This is quite a social media in itself!
Right now I am trying to get my website sight-worthy. I think I am missing something (understanding) of Titles, Meta-tags, Menus, etc. I've had outside competition for my time recently, so it is taking me time to figure it all out. A friend in the WA community created a nice logo for my site. It is on one page only, at this point. I think it should adorn every page and post? true? but I don't know how... Tomorrow is another day... Time to go saw lumberzzz.

Hi and thank you for reaching out to me. I have read your bio and I see you are somewhere in the South east. I live in Winston Salem, North Carolina. I have been here for 28 years. Originally from New York. They call me a Damn Yankee, because I will never go back to New York.

Wealthy affiliate seems to be pretty good. I have been a member for seven years and did nothing with it. That is a shame, because I probably could be making a substantial bit of money right now. But it is never too late. I just turned 60 a few days ago. I realize I have no time to waste with the prime part of my life. I am stating my own Life Coaching business and I have a podcast on most podcast stations.

I know how you feel. Money has been a struggle especially with Covid, but I have been blessed to have worked all of my life. Some of the members were right. Just remember, make your goals attainable and realistic. if you don't reach your goals, you might get a sense of frustration and decide to not pursue it any further. You can always increase your goals. Stay focused. This is not a get rich quick scheme. You have to put in the time. Make it a priority. You can do this. Make sure you go through the training. I have set up my website and I have been google ranked in just a few days. You can do this.

I do require an income as well, but you have to keep plugging away, even after you worked a full day. Nothing that is worth while is ever easy. But at some point the rewards will always out weight the work.

Good luck to you. you can always private message me.
If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask.

Sincerely
Michael

Mike,
SEVEN YEARS! I can hardly believe that. Within a few days you can have it moving the gold, if you complete the traffic generation.

We are about 3 hours apart. Thank you for the wise counsel you sent my way. I am going to try and keep trying. I am desperate to do this. I hope you do, too.

Thanks Michael. I live near Boone, so we are fairly close in NC. Beautiful place. I moved here end 2018. I made the move within 6 weeks, orchestrated by God helping me, or I would not have made it by myself. Thankful.

That is quite a ride, all day trip? Yes, I like the countryside. You go around the foot of a mountain into another valley of "hollar"
and the weather report is totally changed! Sunshine/rain.....
I like to hike; this is THE place.
Success to you. Hope you are making progress.

Are you and your husband retired? It seems to be a great place to retire. You must like the winter weather. I like a little snow, and hunker down next to a cozy fire, but I’m not a real winter person. I am in Florida the next Two days visiting my Dad. Will be home Friday. Everything is going good. I have not worked at all the past few days. I feel funny not working on my business, but it’s nice to take a break and enjoy the hard work. If you need anything, please let me know. Keep in touch.

I'm retired by over 10 years, and finding it is wise to create a backup plan, both figuratively and literally. I was going to work on my site issues, but opened up to the message that I need to upgrade wordpress. Before that I need to backup. I've never done that.

Hi SHeisey,
Brave goals! I traveled some with my husband working with satellites. However, we were never gone longer than a month and we always stayed in the United States. I can not fathom living in a different country! Which Countries were blessed with your presence? Form your picture top right I see you like the violin? Viola? I have a love for both! Just not necessarily the traditional classical music.

Keep that positive attitude.

Have a blessed day!

Tina,
Thank you for your comments. Foreign countries we lived in : Germany (BRD), Belgium, and visited slightly France and Holland. Went through a corner of Switzerland bc I wanted to see that place. We saw a piece of it. Later, husband and I lived in So. Korea. Totally different from Europe. I enjoyed the differences.

So do you play both violin and viola? I love the rich tones of viola and cello; but I only play violin, since I was three.
So do you perhaps play Celtic style? Or fiddle? If not classical?

YOU sound like thge brave girl who will go far with your motivations on the WA Platform.
Thank you for contacting me. I want to cheer you on.

More modern music like " A thousand Years" I fell in love with that song when a movie My sister was watching played it. I enjoy contemporary christian as well. Christmas music is one of my family favorites. Thank you, for your reply.
