I am premium, ready for Level 2?? I have a website in process.

I want to learn how to set up affiliate links on a siterubix website.

Hi

Please review below resources You are wanting paste your links in the text interface of your classic or block editors.

Reading your notes below

HOW TO CHOOSE A DOMAIN NAME

You can use Namemesh dot com - look in SEO & MIX columns

You can also use leandomainsearch dot com, you input a word and it gives you another

And godaddy valuation tool to find a memorable name.

However nowadays domains are not so affected by SEO vs writing quality rich content with good choice of keywords, latter of which would rank you in the search engines.

I would always go for a dot com domain name vs dot net or dot org as people's perceptions when they start typing they would typically assume it is a dot com. And make sure it is spelled correctly as it cannot be edited once purchased.

I would not include dashes and check if the domain is copyrighted, trademarked and ' or registered to an established business.

You can use Jaaxy fo find something suitable and along the metrics would also search if the dot com domain is available

Look for searches (avg.) above 30 and competition (qsr. ) lower than 100, the lower the qsr the better. Starter sites SEO greater than 95.

Thank you for your helpful advice. How can I know when my website is ready for links?

Hi Shirley, Apache has given you a great answer. Once you start to build up your traffic then think about adding affiliate links.

All the very best,

Michael

Michael,
8 months ago you left me a message about Affiliate Links. I must have missed this. I am now replying 8 months later!
You have given me good advice.

I still have to LEARN how to do this. Much appreciation.

And I hope you are doing just GREAT!

Shirley

Hi Shirley, I am glad you found the advice helpful. Any questions please ask.

All the very best,

Michael

Good advice

This is covered in lesson 3 however don't be in a rush as you need to still build your website as per the lessons. Skipping training in the order given will only create more hassles later.

Hey Apache!
It is nice to hear from you. Thank you for the advice.
I guess I will proceed in getting my own domain. Any advice for me on Domain names? That is the lesson I am on.
Thanks.

Thank you Shirley I am more focused on working with my website more now among other things. But I do pop in once in a while.

As for the domain name think about your niche and preferably look into adding your niches within the domain name.
Also, don't hyphenate between words and try not to make the name too long.

Think of the user experience where people can remember the domain name easily if they need to type it in.

Wishing you well and have a great week ahead.

Andre

Thank you Apache. A website is always in FLUX. How can I know when it is ready for links?

Hi Shirley

Guess Abie has given you some ideas.

Wishing you well
Andre

Yes, she sent info on how to link. I have not tried it, yet, but took notes for later.
I do have a question for you, if you have an answer for me.
I recently moved my rubix website to a personal owned domain. The Dom name I could get was HealthyMyself.com
My old site title was healthygardenhealthyyou. So now my domain name and site title do not match. Can the site title be changed to reflect new domain name?

I received some review comments from Steven Thiam of changes I could make to improve SEO score. I really do not want to change directions, just make more compatible, upgrade content. My niche remains the same.

If you have advice for me, I will try to follow along.
Thanks,

Shirley

If you go to your website dashboard under customize you are about to change the site title to want you want it to say. It is just the URL that you cannot change.
so if your domain name is called healthmyself.com you can change the site title to healthy garden healthy you and you still have the original URL as healthy myself there.

Hope that helps

Andre

Oh, THANK YOU! This makes me happy.
Hope you are doing well.
Blessings,
Shirley

Glad to hear Shirley and yes I am fine

Also if you have any issues with this contact site support they should be able to help you but you should be fine.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Andre

Thank you Andre.
Shirley

Most welcome

Hi Shirley
Is this sorted now?
:-)
Richard

Well, I think I saw the list is hidden, but available along the left side, again. At least it was once recently. There was no evidence until I hovered in that area, and it popped up.
Blessings to you!
Shirley

I'm glad to hear you seem to have found a way.
What hardware are you using?
:-)
Richard

I am on an HP Notebook 10. It is old, but mostly good. Except the programs keep upgrading, then everything changes!
Recently my WORD recently upgraded. Now I cannot even open it. Some valuable files are hidden there. Upgrades are not always helpful!!

Hi Shirley
I saw the good news about the solution. I wonder how the fonts got enlarged in the first place though?
:-)
Richard

Richard, Enlargement of the font is probably something I inadvertently did myself. Control-->Scroll / memory Lapse, "Did I just enlarge my font??" NOW I know!
The reverse CTRL-SCROLL .
Shirley

The platform changed a bit last year, now everything that was on the left side is now up top.

Thank you Joe.Well, I think I saw the list is hidden, but available along the left side, again. At least it was once recently. There was no evidence until I hovered in that area, and it popped up.

Anytime Shirley :)

As mentioned already, clear your cache and old history.
Then refresh page.

If you have not logged in since before the upgrade, try this:
Go to WA home page, click on login tab and reenter your credentials.

The page look has changed since the upgrade, so you may not recognize WA from memory.

If this does not work, use Chrome or other browser and attempt to login.

Let us know if you get this resolved.

Rudy

Rudy, you are a dear! Thank you. I have been trying to learn how to clear cache etc. I used to do this. i'm on Nobebook10, and it seems to be different. Also, the person who gave this to me several years ago, had "partioned" it for security. I am lost already.
BUT, today I saw: Well, I think I saw the list is hidden, but available along the left side, again. At least it was once recently. There was no evidence until I hovered in that area, and it popped up.
Blessings to you!
Shirley

You're welcome, Shirley!
What browser do you use to get online? And what operating system, is a notebook a windows or Mac?
To know this could help me to explain how you can clear your history and cache.

Rudy

Hi Rudy,
I mostly use DuckDuckGo, or Firefox, least...G-Chrome.
HP Notebook is Windows 10.

I have often lost my top bar and one day I went into view and made it smaller and my top line came back. You could try refreshing your browser or do as Abie says clear your cache. Hope this helps.

Yvonne,
I may told everyone else, but you, You were the life-saver. I enlarged my font without seeing the changes up top. When I recognized I could not find my top links I had already forgotten the enlargment, and NOW I KNOW----You were RIGHT ON! i SCROLLED IN REVERSE. Perfect, it all returned.

Thank you.
Shirley

So glad you were able to fix your issue.

Hi

You may want to try a different browser or empty browsers cache. Also close tabs and reopen.
