Happy Thanksgiving Message From the Road
You know, every year around this time, I slow down just long enough to really look back at the roads I’ve been down, the ones still ahead, and the people who’ve been riding along this journey with me.
And I’ve got to say I’m grateful. Deeply.
Not just for the miles I’ve made or the brands I’ve built, but for the people who’ve kept me grounded through it all. This community right here the Wealthy Affiliate family has changed more than just how I earn online. It’s changed how I see what’s possible.
From Truck Stops to Laptop Stops
When I first started building online, I had no idea what I was doing. I was just a truck driver with a dream and a stubborn belief that there had to be a better way a way to build something that would still run when the wheels stopped turning.
Fast forward to today, and I’ve built multiple brands, written books, and met people all over the world all because of WA. Every training, every late-night post, every kind word from this community stacked up to something real.
That’s what I’m thankful for the climb, the lessons, and the family we find in this digital space.
Gratitude for the Builders
This Thanksgiving, I’m not just giving thanks for food or rest I’m giving thanks for the builders.
The ones who keep showing up.
The ones who chase their dreams between shifts.
The ones who keep writing when nobody’s reading yet.
You’re the heartbeat of this place.
And if you’re reading this yeah, you I just want you to know that your effort matters. You might not see it all at once, but every blog, every idea, every step adds up to something that will one day make you proud.
What Thanksgiving Really Means to Me

Thanksgiving isn’t just about a meal for me.
It’s about moments like watching the sun set over the road after a long haul, or realizing a post you wrote actually helped someone else find hope.
It’s about pausing the grind long enough to say: we made it this far together.
So, from one builder to another, I just want to say:
Thank you.
For the inspiration.
For the support.
For the reminder that no matter where we start, we can build something lasting something that gives back.
Keep Rolling, Keep Building
As the year winds down and the cold rolls in, keep your fire burning.
Keep creating.
Keep learning.
Keep showing the world what’s possible when passion meets persistence.
Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned
we don’t just build websites here. We build dreams.
Happy Thanksgiving, WA Fam
Here’s to family the ones we’re born with and the ones we find here.
Here’s to big dreams, warm coffee, and websites that keep on running while we rest.
Keep chasing your freedom.
Keep building your legacy.
And most of all never forget how far you’ve come.
And the most important part that great family you’ll sit down with tonight. Cherish them.
Remember, we don’t just fight this road for us.
We fight it for them.

Hey Genmark, I hear you, my friend.
It takes a lot of courage to speak up like that, and I respect you for it. We all go through hard roads some rougher than others and just being here, reaching out, shows you’ve still got hope burning in you.
I can’t fix everything, but I can remind you that this community is full of people who care and who’ve been through their own storms too. Keep your faith strong, take one step at a time, and lean on the kindness that’s around you. You’re not alone in this

Happy Thanksgiving Shawn, I think you're amazing for what you have done and where you're at, ? are you still driving a truck😄
thanks brother appreciate that a lot.
And yup, still behind the wheel! Out here chasing loads and chasing dreams at the same time. Looks like I’m not making it home for Thanksgiving either, but that’s the life sometimes, right?
Still, I’m thankful for the road, the miles, and good people like you who make this community feel a little like family. Stay safe out there, my friend and Happy Thanksgiving from one grinder to another.

What a lovely Thanksgiving post that comes from the heart!
We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in the UK, but I am happy to join you in giving thanks. There are so many things to be grateful for - I celebrate 'Thanksgiving' every night when I look back and appreciate all the good things that have happened that day. And I truly appreciate that I have so many people from around the world to share them with.
Happy Thanksgiving - and may your dreams all turn to reality.
With lots and lots of good wishes,
Isabella
Isabella, this made my day thank you.
I love how you practice “Thanksgiving” every night. That’s beautiful. Even though we’re an ocean apart and the UK doesn’t mark the holiday, it still feels like we’re all at the same table here sharing wins, lessons, and a little hope.
Grateful for you and this WA family. Wishing you a week full of small joys, steady progress, and dreams turning real, one step at a time.
Happy Thanksgiving from my side of the pond, with a hot cup raised to you.
Shawn
Thanks, but I am not in Canada, In the US we celebrate Thanksgiving around the end of November

That was powerful, Shawn. You wrote that straight from the heart, and it shows. The journey from truck stops to laptop stops says it all and a living reminder that transformation doesn’t need fancy beginnings, just steady drive and faith in what’s possible.
What really stood out to me is how you tied gratitude not just to success, but to community and purpose. You captured what makes Wealthy Affiliate special and it’s more than training or tools; it’s people pushing each other to rise, even when life hits hard.
Your message makes Thanksgiving feel less like a holiday and more like a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing this reminder of why we build, who we build for, and how every mile, every post, and every late-night hustle adds up to something that truly matters. Keep sharing. Love it!

Wow, John that means a lot, my friend.
You’ve always had a way of putting things into words that hit right where they need to. You’re absolutely right this journey has never been about fancy starts or perfect conditions. It’s about faith, drive, and the kind of people who remind you why you started in the first place.
And I’ve got to say, messages like yours help get a guy through. I’m actually not making it back today we got shut down due to weather. But hey, that just means I get to spend the evening working online and connecting with great people like you.
You nailed it WA isn’t just a platform, it’s a heartbeat. Grateful for your friendship, insight, and for this reminder that we’re all building something that truly matters. Appreciate you, brother.
