Why I’m Pivoting and Helping Others Share Their Stories

Over the last couple of years, I built something I never imagined I would.

One brand.

One idea.

One story I wanted to tell.

That brand was Wildfoot.

And through that brand, something incredible happened.

I wrote 16 books.
I produced 13 audiobooks, with three more currently in production.

My content reached millions of views across Facebook.

I hit over a million views on Pinterest.

Today those platforms still sit around 100,000 organic views a month, and that traffic continues because of the foundation I built.

Not because I went viral.

Because I built something real.

And the truth is, that foundation came from what I learned here at Wealthy Affiliate.

Now does that mean my brand is number one and I made it?

Not even close.

But I built something that continues to live and breathe on its own.

And that’s the beautiful part.

The Brand That Gave Me My Heart Back

When I first started writing, I wasn’t thinking about views.

I wasn’t thinking about marketing.

I wasn’t even thinking about selling books.

I started because I lost someone important to me.

My cousin.

And I wanted to make sure our stories didn’t disappear.

So I wrote.

And I shared.

And somehow those stories reached millions of people.

That brand gave me something back I didn’t realize I had lost.

It gave me my belief in myself again.

The Realization That Changed Everything

Recently I noticed something interesting.

At the start of 2026 my content was reaching about 600,000 views a month organically.

Then something happened.

The numbers began to drop.

At first I wondered what went wrong.

Then I realized the truth.

My heart wasn’t in it the same way anymore.

I had reached the goal I set out to reach.

And here’s the funny part.

Even though my views dropped…

My sales went up.

People were still discovering the work.

The foundation was still working.

The system I built was still running.

And that’s when I realized something important.

The brand didn’t need me pushing it every day anymore.

It could stand on its own.

Why I’m Pivoting

So now comes one of the most important words in business.

Pivot.

Wildfoot isn’t disappearing.

The books are still there.
The blogs are still there.
The community is still there.

People are even helping run pages and continuing conversations around the topic.

That brand will always exist.

But my focus is changing.

Because I don’t just want to write about one topic forever.

I’m a writer.

Writers explore.

Writers evolve.

And now I want to help other people do the same thing.

What I Really Want to Teach

I don’t want to teach people how to write Sasquatch books.

If they want to do that, great.

I’m pretty good at that topic.

But that’s not the real lesson.

What I want to teach people is what that journey taught me.

How to:

• Believe in their ideas
• Turn stories into books
• Publish those books
• Build websites around their work
• Create real organic traffic
• Learn how marketing actually works

Because the truth is, I see something every single day online.

I see authors posting in groups saying:

“I’ve had my book out for three months and I haven’t sold anything.”

That hurts to see.

Because most of the time the problem isn’t the book.

The problem is marketing.

Wealthy Affiliate Was My College

I’ll be honest about something.

I never went to college.

Life didn’t give me that opportunity.

I went straight to work.

But almost two years ago, I found Wealthy Affiliate.

And in a strange way, that platform became my college.

It taught me:

• how websites work
• how search traffic works
• how keywords work
• how blogging works
• how online businesses are actually built

The coaches here are some of the best in the world.

They’re not standing on a stage screaming about expensive courses.

That’s something more people need to see.

Why My Next Chapter Is Helping Authors

Right now I’m working on a new book.

A marketing book.

But not the kind filled with gimmicks.

This book is about curiosity.

About how writers can unlock their creative minds.

How they can build worlds with their words.

How they can market their work without losing who they are.

Because AI doesn’t write my books.

I write my books.

AI helps polish things sometimes, sure.

But every idea, every story, every thought in my books comes from me.

That’s what writing should be.

Your voice.

Your curiosity.

Your story.

A New Era Begins

So today marks a pivot for me.

One era closes.

Another begins.

Wildfoot will always be there for people who want to explore that world.

But now I’m shifting my focus toward something bigger.

Helping people build their own worlds.

Helping people write their stories.

Helping people turn ideas into something real.

Because the internet gives us that ability today.

And most people never realize it.

The Next Two Months

One advantage of my trucking career is something called spring breakup.

For the next couple of months I’ll be home more.

Still getting paid.

But with time to build.

And I plan to use that time to help people understand something powerful.

You don’t need permission to create your future anymore.

You just need the willingness to start.

The Start of a New Dream

So today is a new day.

A new chapter.

A new direction.

I’m taking everything I learned from building Wildfoot…

and putting that energy into Just Me,Built With Dreams.

A place where writers can grow.

A place where stories matter.

A place where people realize their ideas are worth sharing with the world.

Because one thing I’ve learned over the last two years is this.

The internet isn’t just about making money.

It’s about building something that matters.

And now I want to help others do exactly that.
