Squirrely Sunday

Cast: Grandmonster

2.25 Dogs in residence

2 Dogs being 'dogsat.'

2 drunk Bluejays

1 drunk squirrel

The stage is set, now onto the Feature Show.

Due to scheduling, we had our Grandmonster today and our dogs, plus Thing 1's dogs.

Giving us 4.25 dogs in total: 2 are 80+lbs, 2 are 40lbs, and one is just above the classification of rodent.

All of the above mentioned are vying for someone's attention, but mainly the child in question seems to be the chosen one.

Enter center stage: "THUNK."

Bluejay hits the window. Dazed and confused, he shakes it off, wobbling away.

(For scene-setting, one must know that we have a berry tree out front, and the berries are starting to ferment).

As Bluejay 1 wobbles, Bluejay 2 is leaning against a branch eating the berries... would you like some cheese with your wine, sir?

Now we have the attention of the dogs. Typically quiet beasts, the Bluejays have disturbed the peace, and the growling starts. (Not a threatening growl, mind you, just a curious, "Who the h3ll are you, and why are you here?" type growl).

Enter a drunken squirrel. (I didn't know that squirrels would imbibe in the finer things like wine, but they do... or we have a lush on our hands. Either way, he's into it).

Now for a game of tag. Squirrel vs. Bluejays. Drunkenly weaving in and out of the branches, falling on the ground, hitting the window, and our fearless protectors merely watching the performance. Five various sized heads weaving left, right, and back again.

Of course, now the the three of us are watching.

Squirrel fell out of the tree at one point, giving up the game, he wandered away (hopefully to sleep it off) while the Bluejays kept playing.

Two more sharp 'thunks,' and the game was done! (Our window, and the jays, survived the attacks).

Now we have two birds sitting under our window weaving their heads, and a passed out squirrel somewhere in the yard.

So why do I tell YOU this story, dear WA reader? Why not? It's Sunday! Besides, I had to share this with someone!

Now onto WA things:

Application to Awin: Approved

Pinterest: 11K in views (thanks to Jay, Kyle, and You)!

Courses: 5 Completed, and running... no sales yet (fingers crossed for that to change).

Amazon: $2.53 in commission! I'm excited about this as it shows that my links are paying off now.
