Hello.Again

Hello again!

I can't believe that it's been 6 months since I last blogged on here!

So what exactly have I been doing with my time? Well, I'd like to tell you that I've been busily working away with my WA projects, but alas, the Squirrels and life had other plans!

Due to health reasons, my father is now living with us, and up until recently, he was the priority. Thankfully, with some intervention by an excellent doctor, he is finally recovering and in good health again!

Like most, 2020- 2021, I took some 'hits' that were unexpected, and I was unprepared. In mid-2020, I decided to retire from the physical aspect of Massage Therapy. (After 25+ years, it was time). During this time, I was in pain from an unknown source. I wanted and needed to quit Massage. Covid gave me the quiet exit I wanted, as Massage Therapy had been shut down for most of the year. And so, quietly, with stealth, I closed my practice! ( I have since been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The good news? We caught it before there was too much joint damage, and I feel a thousand times better)!

One would think that I had nothing but time now to focus on my WA projects... oh, nay, nay! Sitting at my computer became intimidating. I couldn't get started on anything, much less complete a simple post. Staring at a blank screen became a 'thing' for me. Hours would go by, and nothing productive would happen.
April brought a renewal!! The squirrels awoke from whatever slumber they were taking, and EUREKA! I was back in the saddle again!

The first mission... update websites. Word of advice, if you find your 'break' is lasting longer than expected, stay on top of Website updates!! Lesson learned!
After getting my sites back in good working order, I had to 're-wrap my head'... so to speak. Leaving my practice was more emotional than I thought it was going to be. My career and practice defined me... now I was a washed-up 'has been.' (Or so I thought).

What do I do Now?

Redefining my goals, dreams, expectations and putting a plan in place to bring them to fruition!
To make a long story short, I have completed the course that I've been working on and have launched it! There are still some finishing touches to do, but the bulk of it is done & dusted!! (Now I am praying for clients/ students)!!
