Yesterday I logged on to peek around WA (as I often do, even if not participating as much), and I had a ‘Badge’ notification! 3 Years at WA!! Seems like yesterday I joined… gads time flies!
The Bumps
It took me almost 5 months to get my UFD (Ugly First Draft) of my course launched. It’s up and running, but not doing much currently, and I know why, and now it’s to go in and polish it, then relaunch!! This has the Squirrels quite busy, and I haven’t had much extra time to participate in WA… I sneak in and out, leaving the odd comment or like, but not blogging, or chatting much. (I do miss the community).
Then you have the personal stuff we all have. The global situation gave me pause, and I retired from my Massage Therapy Practice. After 26 years, it was time. My body was slowly ‘giving up’. (I have since been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis from wear and tear). The good news? We caught it early enough for treatment!
We were also the primary care for the Grandmonster for the last half of the school year and summer. With school and daycare closures, we were the only option. (OK… I had fun! Spending that much time with my Granddaughter was a blast)!

My father became ill in December, and he now is living with us. Fortunately, he recovered, but it was a scary run for a few months. This has led to him making the decision to move in with us, and to sell his farm.
Free time has been spent cleaning, moving, and fixing in preparation for said sale. Forty years of stuff! Who knew one could collect so many tools?!
Squirrels
All this madness has caused the Squirrels to run themselves ragged. Plans, events, doctor appointments and cancellations have been a preoccupation for the first half of this year. (So far, we have been able to keep all our nuts in the air, and everyone is sane)! BONUS!
Success
I learned the hard lesson of DELEGATION this year. It’s hard for me to let go of control, and I had to give some of that up to others… amazingly, I survived this hardship!
Even though it’s in UFD mode, the course is up and running. Polishing it up will be a worthwhile challenge.
That brings me to my 3 years at Wealthy Affiliate… what a ride it has been! I do love it!
The second half of this year will see me ‘retraining’ and catching up on some NinJay Webinars! I will also be refining my sites, and posts for updated information. It’s time to refresh things!
