Treat Yourself!
What motivates you to do something you really don't want to do? We each have different things that work to inspire us to accomplish different tasks. For me, it is a rare treat or indulgence.
I have accomplished more than I even knew I could in the last few months. Have I accomplished what I ultimately want to accomplish yet? No, but I am slowly making progress each day.
I think it is ok for me to take some time to celebrate my accomplishment today. Maybe some ice cream which I don't eat that often. Besides, it is 90 some degrees outside on this hot June day. A cool treat would definitely be refreshing.
Taking some time to pause and reflect on my accomplishments so far helps motivate me to continue pushing on towards the bigger goal.
I encourage you to do the same. Treat yourself to whatever it is that you love but don't indulge in very often. It doesn't have to be anything big or expensive. Maybe even some time alone to do your own thing.
Whatever it is, you deserve it!
