Baby Steps
My seventeen month old daughter has had several set backs and illnesses in her short life so far. These set backs have resulted in some developmental delays. She is just now learning to walk. In fact, as I am writing this, I am watching her walk on her own further than she has before. You can see how proud and pleased she is with herself by the smile on her face. She has just accomplished something she never has before. These baby steps are opening up a whole new world to her. One that is exciting and yet scary at the same time (for both her and her mama)!
What she doesn't realize is that her mother is taking baby steps right now too. I am learning one step a time how to build a website, write posts and hopefully eventually make money as a result. I am entering a world I have never been in before. It is scary, but also exciting. Like my daughter, I am proud of my accomplishments so far! I have a website with four posts. It still is in its infancy and I know I have a long way to go yet to get it where I want it to be. What I do know is that I am in the right place to receive the training and help I need to navigate this new venture.
Ironically, my niche is baby and toddler toys. I am an early childhood educator so how children learn through play is an interest of mine. There are several toys my daughter uses to help her learn to walk. She is becoming less dependent on them every day, but they have been such a benefit to her development and progress.
I am very thankful for the training and support I continue to receive in this amazing online community. It is the support I need to continue to take the baby steps toward my goals. It is true that you get to your destination one step at a time. I am no exactly sure of where the road will take me at this moment. Right now, my goal is just to continue and not lose confidence. Hopefully, in the next few months I will have a website that is a help to others and is also profitable to me.
Now on to the next step!

I think we all take baby steps when we first start here. This learning we are going through also takes us to a whole new world. It is good that you recognize the need to build, which takes time. Just keep on the way you're going and you will do well.
