Recently I started making PLC videos again on YouTube, even some scheduled to be released about Powerflex 525 drives.

As a person who has been in the electrical field for over 22 years & has been programming plc controls for 18 years now, I started my online website design journey as anyone else would do.

I had a career that I went to every day, in my case an automation tech, then when I had time off I learned what it would take to start my own training platform.

After all, I enjoy helping people & the more you teach the better you get.

The thing I didn't know is how much work it would take, I started a YouTube channel teaching PLC controls, I built a website that teaches plc controls & automation.

In fact, it is my very first website I made. OnlinePLCSupport.com which was a great learning point for me because I had to produce every piece of content that I put on the website. As time went on, I got more and more YouTube videos (Over 200 in fact) so I started using them for my website.

So what am I saying here?

After building content & more content in efforts to teach what I knew, I sort of got burnt out for a little while.

It wasn't until one of my very first students made a website, a YouTube channel, & stated teaching what he learned from me..did I realize that taking a break only cost you all of your hard work.

This lit a fire back into me!

Making new youTube videos for PLC controls, Powerflex drives, HMIs, & more.

Even building more onto my PLC training website.

When I look back, I ended up cleaning the website to add more value & to stop trying to get attention for it but instead, I aimed it to have meaning.

So if someone visits the website, they get the experience that they are looking for by learning about programmable logic controls.

Of course, this website is not for you if you are not an electrical tech, a maintenance tech, or an engineer but it does fit the need of this direct niche.

So if there is one thing that I have learned from this, it is to stay focused on your passion & make it mean something to you because if you do then you will stick with it through the years & make it work.

That is what business is about.

I hope this help,

Shane
