What Happens If You Upgrade To Annual But You've Already Paid For A Month?
I signed up for the annual Black Friday special as few days ago but I had also just made a payment for my monthly members. I remember sitting there with my mouse over the "Place Order" button thinking to myself...
I wonder what's going to happen when I go annual even though I've just paid for another month...
Well, I decided to be a guinea pig of sorts and processed the order.
So, What Happened?A little notification popped up saying that since I had already pad a month, the price of the Black Friday special was actually reduced... so instead of it being $299, I ended up paying $252.
The reason my payment wasn't reduced by the full month was because I had 27 days in the month left in the month I paid for so WealthyAffiliate automatically pro-rata'd the amount.
Hopefully if you're wondering what happens if you upgrade from a monthly membership to an annual membership that this answers any questions about how the payment is processed.
Until next time...
... stay classy.

Thanks Susan! Just something for those who may have been wondering what happens. Sometimes I like to be a human crash test dummy to see what happens ;)
Firstly congrats on going yearly awesome.
Basically when you go to your account setting click upgrade and it will let you know the balance you need to pay as you have already paid for the month
This will adjust as a pro rata as you have mentioned.
For others, this link will also help I've already paid for december. what happens if I go yearly?
Welcome to an experiment I like to call... do people on WA actually read entire blogs or just comment to get their activity up 🤣🤣

Congrats on going yearly, Shane, that's so neat you got a deduction, I had also a week or 2 left in 2014 and it was deducted back then too. Success for the upcoming year, and perhaps we meet in Vegas;)
