Early Bird Catches The Worm?
The last time I EVER woke up this early with a mission to complete (4:45am) was when I was in high school.
My mother, who happens to be gone from this life since March of 2015, was such a dedicated Christian woman.
She wouldn't miss a morning spent with Jesus. She'd wake up at four so she could pray and read one of her many bibles (each one was different with verse commentation and cool side notes to help the reader understand the text better).
I think she liked her bibles like she liked her purses!
I wanted to be like her, I guess. Her dedication and determination inspired me to wake up 4:30 and sometimes fifteen minutes earlier than that (it depended on what I was studying).
Mom had been jaded in her past, leading her into a time of uncertainty and depression, but something always brought her back to our dining room table so she could talk to her one hope in life.
She was dedicated. She was in love.
The love of telling a story, of researching about something I don't know a lot about, of helping like-minded people get to where they hope to be... this is why I get up early in the morning.
And also because it takes some time to make my coffee, let the fur babies outside and feed and water them! Such neediness...
Consider getting up early in the morning. The first time you do it will SUCK, but have faith in your body. It will get used to it.

Hi Shannon,
I think early morning can be a very productive time, it’s when I get the most things done too, although 4:45 is a bit early for me 😆
Dedication to something that you are passionate about is an inspiring character trait.
If we do find something that stirs our passions, and makes us want to learn more about, then it would be a shame not to commit our time to it. (After the day to day things have been taken care of, of course).
Thanks for sharing,
Ray
It's a journey. Some days are more productive than others, but the more you envision yourself already successful in whatever you're trying to accomplish at the time, the more things will start to align. Thank you for taking the time to read my post, Ray! Take care!

In my case, it IS the most productive part of the day. The older I get, the more I think about my dreams of being an author and financially independent are not quite a reality, yet, and this is what motivates me to get out of that bed and take a few pertinent steps toward them. Thanks for reading, Alex!

Thank you for sharing Shannon. And what a beautiful story about your mother :-)
I love mornings as well, but not as early as 4:45. But that happens in between😄. I have my most productive hours in the morning. My creativity is at it s best then. And our furbaby needs to go out as well 😄

Thank you, Roy! I miss her a lot. I guess the early morning had already been engrained into my psyche, but it lay dormant for far too long.
