I was searching for the term: " How to act on A first date" and jaaxy showed me a QSR of 48. Now I searched for the term "How to act on THE first date", the QSR was by 171. Sur

Hey Sergej,

Expanding a little on the chat reply as I didn't read it well enough. Not enough coffee yet. :)

Words like "a" and "the" are known as "stop words" and are often ignored by search engines.

Because QSR is quoted search results, you got different numbers, but if you do a search in google without quotes as someone normally will you will find the results to be almost identical. When I did it, 9 out of 10 results on page one were the same.

Djhinnwe's suggestion was good IMO.

Because of the stop word, you will essentially be competing for both keyword phrases. Don't fear that.

Good luck.

Awesome, Thank you!

People look up 'the first date' more often than 'a first date'. You can use both key phrases in the same post.

Jaaxy has a different qsr by using either "a" or "the". why?
