My progress thus far at Wealthy Affiliate

It has been about two months since I joined Wealthy Affiliate. I have learned a lot in such a short space of time where online marketing is concerned.

I am learning about the basics what it takes to be very successful in this business and it is not just selling the products willy nilly to everyone and pushing yourself too many time in front of someone, they would get fed up and I do not blame them.

I know how to create a website from scratch, to purchase a domain and where to purchase how to host domains on WA, keywords (Jaaxy) which is a very important tool to learn trust me I never knew it was that important until I started learning. Talk about being a newbie that's me.

There are so many things about WA I love but where to start? Hmmmm. I love the fact that you can always go back to your lessons if you need be. They are always open to you; if you need help with something, you can ask for it through the comments section of each lesson or in the Live Chat. In no time someone would answer your question how awesome is that? If you feel a little self-conscious about doing that (I admit I feel that way sometimes pardon me for that), you can always private message someone and they would surely get back to you.

I love the weekly live webinar sessions that Jaye organizes every week is a different topic and I think he does an amazing job teaching. You can sense his passion and of course he tells it like it is. Always listen to the experts, they know what they are saying.

I think Wealthy Affiliate is the ideal place to learn online marketing because they are always striving to stay up to date with the times in terms of information, updating the lessons, sharing insights into future things taking place in the internet world.

I think too WA has helped me a bit to come out of my shell in terms of exposing myself and the website on the different social mediums - Pinterest, Google. For me it was not an easy thing to do because I am a bit shy and reserved but I am gradually learning to open up a bit and take a chance.

I am a bit fearful of this because it is a great risk for me to do online marketing but I see a lot of potential with the Almighty's help, I will succeed and of course with the help of Kyle, Carson and the WA community (I am going to be relying on you a lot for help so be warned). I even say one of my posts googled on the first page of Google and that was a great feeling and gives me the incentive that WA is the place to be and to keep pushing on to greater things.

My wish is that by the end of the year or even early next year I would start getting leads that would turn into sales on my website. I want to be able to give users a great experience when they come to visit my website that they would always want to come back kinda like going to one of your favourite bars or nightclubs. I have met some great people along the way through follows, sharing feedback on websites. As I said before I am amazed at the variety of websites and creativity I have seen. Wish I could be more creative like that more visual and stimulating. I think one of the things I need to learn to is the webmaster tools or the Bing webmaster tools are they two different things by the way?

I wish I can journey to Las Vegas in November to meet Carson, Kyle and all the WA reps in person but oh well that might not happen. In a perfect world I wish we could all meet in person and socialize, brainstorm, hangout you name it. You are all in my thoughts and I would always remember you. It has been a wonderful thus far and it would continue to be with WA at my side.
