Finding the right path

I have been on this journey for the past few years in discovering who I am, what the heck I have to do with my life and if I would ever be financially stable.

I am currently working a part time job in upstate, NY. I left behind my city life because my soon to be husband got selected to be a State Trooper so that meant that we had to pack all our things and relocate to a place I am not so familiar with. This also meant for me that I had to start over, in terms of finding a job, friends, family, everything.

When I finally settled into my current job, I realize how I settled for something that did not fulfill my dream of success; I am not making good enough income to even support myself and this path could never give me what I wanted, both financially and emotionally. So, how does one find the right path?

The truth of it all, you have to really put your mind to what you want to do. I have confirmed my age old belief from just being on WA for a day (it's that awesome!) that in order to be successful, you must find your niche. What tickles your fancy? What makes you happy that you could see yourself doing it for the rest of your life? That is the true and only path yet many do not find it because of obstacles in the way. The primary obstacle is the self; we tell ourselves we cannot do something because society tells us we aren't rich enough, attractive enough, smart enough, the list goes on and on. Maybe not society but family and friends feed you with this baloney that becomes a reality with time. No one is born to believe they are worthless or not capable of success, it's a spoonful a day of this poison that leads us to this destructive path.

Listen to what your heart says (cheesy, but true!) and go with the right path that you know you are capable of accomplishing. Go in with full force, don't hold back, you only got one life! ;)
