Wistful Thinking Put Into Action

Percolating on so many ideas, I have been writing down all kinds of ideas. My age old problem has been taking an idea and running with it. It is brilliant to have blog post and article ideas but until one is willing to put rubber to the road, they are just not very useful. So, sorting through the ideas my goal is to identify 10 to 15 of the most promising ones and start working through an outline and finally a finished product to be published for the world to see.

In my history of blogging (at this for several years now) I know I have missed on several critical fronts. One is keyword research. A mystery to be sure, but one I have not pursued which has resulted in poor performance of articles and posts that I felt should have ranked better. Now with my renewed Premium membership at WA I will have the tools to uncover the keywords that will let these articles shine and hopefully encourage engagement by likeminded individuals. Another problem has been a lack of focus. A while back I completed a 30 articles in 30 days challenge at StreetArticles.com (are they still active?). In this challenge I was able to write 30 articles in the home based business category. So I do have 47 articles there I hope to capitalize on for a website here (with a bit of judicious rewriting and reformatting of course). Most of my other articles were stream of consciousness pieces ( a cursory glance at my blogger account at sedarby.blogspot.com will attest to this fact). So, learning from past efforts and with the training here I hope to blaze a path to success.

I know I am not alone in this dilemma and have set tangible goals for achieving published posts and articles. In the end, it will be worth it so I can start putting more ideas down to mull over.

I do hope for everyones success both intangible (all the little successes that make the pursuit worthwhile) and tangible (renumeration for effort).
