I have finally got around to making my first blog post at Wealthy Affiliate! I found my blog. Yay! I have been feeling my way aroung WA for a few days now and I have found that I kind of like it here. Although, I was having a hard time trying to find my blog! I was thinking that I had to create a website but then, what do you know, there it was inside my profile page. I have so much going on lately that I must have missed that on the oreintation videos. Duh? Lol!

Anyway here I am and I'm sure I will become more familiar with WA as I go along. I hope I'm not the only one who has felt a little lost at first?

I would like to take a moment and invite everyone to see my first article about WA on one of my websites and let me know what you think. You may access this post by clicking here. Please feel free to be frank in your comments. I can handle the truth and I love constructive comments as they can only help me to do better the next time. Right? Have a great day to all!

I wrote my first blog but when I tried to publish it I was directed to add 2 tags first. What does that mean?

Jay Gumbs said:
Tags are a way to link similar posts so people can explore related articles on your blog. They're different from categories in that you will usually have a fixed amount of categories but you can have as many tags as there are related articles.

So for example if I have a category on my blog called Product Reviews, then I might review several web hosting services that I've used and tag them with "web hosting" so other people can find all the web hosting reviews in one place. Then another might be "internet marketing training", another "domains". This way you won't have to keep adding more and more categories to your site unless something doesn't quite fit in with what you already have.

Well done for getting your first blog done. Nice writing. It's being spoiled the amount of advertisements on the page. You have far far to many and the ones that are included in the text are so large they are distracting from what else is going on. You also need to learn how to space them properly so the words don't just sit on top of them.
