I really started to get into computer in 2004/2005 while I was deployed in Iraq. Prior to that, computers were mostly just to create word documents or spreadsheets, maybe surf the web. But I met this guy who was all about technology I had never heard before, and out of desperation fueled by infatuation, I began to learn about computers.
Since that time I have learned how to install and configure many different types of software. I have learned basic programming in various languages, and web development. This interest and hobby has come in useful the last several days as I go through the classes and answer questions posted by other users.
It will be fun to see where this leads.
