There's always something to learn

I've been working hard the last couple of days. Mostly on my email automation and "freebie" incentives to sign up for my email list (eventually I'll send out a newsletter ocassional to the list).

I've been creating my "freebie" incentives - Guides that are Tea related guides. I've been using both ChatGPT and Canva AI's to help create these. I had not used Canva very much and never used its AI before. So, during this process I've been learning more about Canva.

My steps:

1. Work with ChatGPT to create a specific Tea Guide content. ChatGPT provided the words and bullet points with my help.
2. I then opened Canva and asked the Canva AI to create one page Guides using the text that ChatGPT provided. I wasn't familiar with Canva so it took several t ries to figure that out.
3. I then downloaded the 1 page image from Canva and took it into Photoshop
4. It wasn't a perfect 8x5-11" size (I guess I need to learn more about Canva to know exactly how to do that part)
5. In photoshop I created a perfect 8x5 x 11" blank image and copied my Canva image as a new layer, then sized that layer to fit the 8.5 x 11" image.
6. I then did a "print to pdf" from Photoshop to create the pdf file
7. I went to my Blog Site "freebie" page and uploaded the file to the appropriate section of my Thank You Subscripters Page.
8. That Thank You Subscribers Page is not part of my site menu and its marked private. You can't get to it unless you have a direct url.
9. I added that direct url to my email automation sequence.

Also I use Noptin as my email automation tool and I think I've finally figured that out. Its been on my TODO list for a while now.

I must confess folks, I often feel like I'm a "Jack of All Trades - but master of none". I tend to have a TODO list that is incomplete because I just don't know enough to complete the project. That happened with Noptin and sat there for a long time.

I know a lof of my issue with completing tasks for my business is due to my health issues. For years I have not been able to sit at my desktop to work on my online business. I mostly had to do things on my iphone and I'm bad at one finger typing and my iphone makes it very difficult to work within two programs (like I can via multiple windows on my Windows desktop). I'm a very efficient typist with a keyboard and a long time "mouse" user. I really hate one finger typing on my cell phone. I've also found that mobile versions of apps and sites are not always easy to work with (like adding images to my WA blogs via mobile - can't do it)

Fortunatley, in recent weeks I've finally been feeling well enought to sit at my desk for several hours each day and really get some work done. That has made me happy and much more productive finally. But even now if I work too long at my desk, the pain comes back and I have to quit and go to my recliner. That's just my burden to bear I guess.

Wow! I was trying to load a screen capture but keeping getting an error. Maybe I can't add imges at my desktop aflter all. -Shirley
