Can't Sleep

It is 3:00 am here and I have alreay been up for an hour, reading emails and such. I woke up about 2:00am and could not go back to sleep so I just got up.

I expect to have a very sleepy day When you just can't sleep there is not a lot you can do about it.

This happens to me quite a bit! It can be a bit frustrating for me sometimes, being as though I feel so mentally exhausted but can't for the life of me get to sleep.

Just don't let it stress you, accept that you cannot sleep and enjoy that moment SDane.

Yes as an "est" graduate from years ago. One of the principles learned is "Resistance equals Persistence."

SDane, what it means is trying to fight the fact you can't sleep will make you not sleep. The fact becomes real for you which is when "persistence" kicks in.

To solve the persistence of not being able to sleep you simply "ALLOW" your whole being to accept that you can't sleep. The mind will relax and in turn you will go to sleep.

Try it. It works!

Wonder if he's still around. Y'know Barb I have not forgotten what I've learned it's inside of me. Sometimes I forget....ohhh well I guess it was all my responsibility!

It does happen for many reasons however sometimes it helps when you can't go to sleep for more than 20min after working up do small and low excise such as reading, keep lights low avoid using backlit devices such as tablets sometimes it help to get back to sleep again or do some relaxation techniques to relax your mind--
