My Journey
Hi there, my name is Rune. I am a 54 year old man from Norway.
I spent most of my adult life working in the music industry, I´ve travelled with band´s as a roadie, driver and technician. I played (bass guitar) a few years in duo´s, trio´s and band´s at small clubs and events and finally i ended up running a live-music club in Norway together with a friend of mine.
The last few years i have been living mostly in Greece. I own a traditional Greek Taverna (!). Don´t ask me how that happened, it´s a part of the mysteries in life !
Sadly the Greek economy was bad 9 years ago.... Now it´s got worse than anyone could ever imagine and the ship is still sinking...! I am, like everybody else struggling every day to keep my business running. Even more sad is the fact that i have lost my faith in this country´s ability to cope with their economical, social, labor and health problems - the list goes on and on while the politicians are sitting there like lame duck´s. Most people mistrust them and the authorities in such a way that the story of the 1930´s Great Depression almost sounds like a fairy tell. Most likely, my business in Greece won´t survive much longer, but I am prepared !
I am not going to sit down and cry over spilled milk ! I will have to make some critical adjustment before i power up the engine again. It ain´t over till the fat lady sings!
So it´s clear that i need to find other ways to finance my life and that´s exactly why i am joining WA. After some research on the web WA seems to be the best place to seriously grow into this kind of business. I think (and hope) that WA is what it says and that joining WA can help me on my way to financial "freedom".
The years passes by and i realize that i need stronger economical security. For me the best way to achieve this is to spread out my activities, widely. If WA delivers what it says and as long as i do my part of the work of course, then i´ve done the right thing! I am eager to learn and to get started on this path ASAP !
