Why am I Not Successful?
As a corporate trainer/public speaker, I see a lot of people who are struggling and striving to be more successful than they currently are. They know they have potential and desire, they just seem to be stuck in their life and don't know how to move out of the rut they have created.
The questions I ask in all my seminars:
- Are you making the kind of money you desire?
- Are you living the lifestyle you want?
- What is holding you back?
If you answered no or I don't know then you are not alone. There is hope. And believe it or not, the answer lies within you! You see you can be as successful as you dream if just you believe in yourself. The challenge is the unconscious mind.
The unconscious mind has one job in life and that is to keep you safe. It looks at any change as a challenge to that task. It will go out of its way to talk you out of change.
Let's do an experiment. I want you to visualize your salary. I want you to see the dollar sign, the numbers, the zeros, visualize it.
Now drop a zero into that and tell yourself that is how much money you will be making by the end of the year. Your unconscious mind probably just told you that is the dumbest idea you have thought today, you might have even chuckled. That is the unconscious mind stepping in. If you listen to it will you ever make that kind of money?
No, of course not.
But if you can get the unconscious mind on board, you can perform miracles. You do that through affirmations, goal setting. You stand in front of the mirror every morning. Put a picture of something you desire on the mirror so that your unconscious mind sees it. Write down goals, a great way to connect to the unconscious.
The most successful poeple I know keep a journal of goals. They will periodically check and are astonished as to how many goals they achieved simply by writing them down.
If you can get the unconscious mind on board it will go out of its way to achieve the goal. This is called the law of attraction. I know what you are thinking, "Richard, you are going metaphysics on us."
No, I am talking quantum physics. My background and degree is in Laser/Electro-Optics. I can take three beams and because of the harmonics of each they will attract and combine to form a more powerful beam.
But let's talk a simpler way, food. One of the great things about my job is I get to travel to different areas of the country and eat local foods. The reason we like to eat is that chefs understand the law of attraction between herbs and spices.
Invite a chef into your kitchen and turn them loose. They will create flavors you never knew existed in your kitchen. They understand that law of attraction.
The unconscious mind is the same. If you can get it on board. Here is an example of that.
Yesterday you had no clue what kind of car you wanted. Today you know exactly the car you want. How many times will you see that car tomorrow?
That is the law of attraction.
You see, you can be as successful as you dream, simply by believing in yourself. If you dream it, you can be it!
Here at WA, there is enough knowledge to learn to become absolutely dangerous as an internet marketer.
Go out and wield that new power carefully.
