Has anyone got a list or cheat sheet for writing a good bio, please?
I've been away from WA for a while and I'm working on a few other projects as well.

I did ask the community for you, there were some great responses

If you check out Kyle's about me page on one of his websites: https://waystoavoidscamsonline.com/about-me
~ Shows a good example :-)

I'm back and I've finally found a large Niche that I'm interested in. I want to write a travel blog but focus on my home city.
Has anyone else done this here on WA?
Also

Sounds great! There's not much credit around north Qld for travel, so would be great! Especially Cairns, as there's beautiful beaches there that people don't talk about, so they're not as crowded too.
I was just about to start a travel blog as well, just to keep track of where I've been and what I've done.
Yeah, so you can do different subtitles for each area, even if its recommended cafes/restaurants.

Hello I have a website on a server outside WA. I was wondering if I can somehow link it up here so I can build it using WA. If that's not possible I will see if I can transfer

I'm pretty sure you can, but I had issues with outside hosting where I got hacked, so I put all my websites here and haven't been hacked since. So just make sure it's a good hosting company. But it might save you money too as hosting is included in premium.

You can host your site elsewhere, you just won't be able to see WA's performance statistics and you won't have some of the benefits that WA offers. Hosting your site elsewhere will give you different benefits but is also an extra cost, as you will have to pay a hosting fee as well as your WA membership, hosting is included in your WA membership. If you ever decide to cancel your WA subscription you then have the headache of moving your sites to a different server. Also on WA, you do not have Cpanel and you are unable to get into your website's folders and files, you will have to use an FTP program. There is no PHP admin so you are unable to access your site's databases. You just need to weigh up the pros and cons between the two and do what you think is best for you.

Cheers Simon. sounds like it would be easier to transfer it across so I can use the WA benefits, that's why I'm here afterall.
cPanel is a handy tool as well.

WA hosting does not have cPanel
.

Thanks Eric. Do you know if it's possible to keep the website where it is and link WA to it?

In the meantime, I can help. Yes, you can keep your site in your current hosting provider, but you will not have the advantages from WA, such as Site Manager, Site Builder, Site Content, etc.

Hello,

I think this training might help. Hope it helps, all the best.

Hi everyone, I've just prettied up my two posts with some imagery. I'm up to lesson two in OECD. I'm using the "affiliate newspaperly" theme and the home page is looking okay

For the images of your posts to appear on the Home Page you have to set your Featured Images.

In your WordPress editor at the bottom of your Right Side Menu you will see the link to the Featured Images page to upload your images.

Thank you, that was exactly what needed doing. I had to be on the actual post page in WP. Took me a minute or two to get there but it's sorted out now.
Can't thank you enough!

You are welcome.

Depending on what template you have, but looks like it might be in the appearance section of the backend of your Wordpress site.

WA Affiliate Program

So I have been chopping and changing between Niches. I think I will start off being an affiliate for WA.
I also have an interest in weight loss, BBQing and also sports bett

I haven't done the affiliate bootcamp yet as I had a different niche, so not really sure. Maybe do the other training first which will also get your ready for the bootcamp as it might be similar with building the website and getting the keywords.

Hey Scott, I completed the Affiliate bootcamp first after starting OECT. I am promoting WA

You will in time complete both and keep returning to go over things but get started and get earning ... :)

Martin

hey hi Scott & welcome to Wealthy Affiliate (WA) Premium!

It's all good!

There's more than one way to reach one's destination ....

What does your inner self or higher self say to you?

Frankly, it's whatever you feel is right for you --- now most would say yes complete the OEC before Bootcamp ... however, it is your on-line biz to manage to Success, so if you really want to promote WA, then, certainly have a look at Bootcamp ....

Any decision you feel you need to make, the answer should feel expansive vs restrictive ... :)

Enjoy a wonderful week ahead ... onward & upward to Success!

All the best, cheerio ... ☘ ...

Well Scott, to be honest, the Affiliate Bootcamp is for those people who don't have a niche. You just listed three great ideas! If you are stuck on how to expand on those ideas, I would recommend watching some of Jay's live training. He has great webinars on writing content, keeping a writing schedule, research, etc., in addition to the numerous webinars about 'finding your niche'.
Take in to consideration that if you promote WA you are competing with Kyle and Carson, LOL.

Best of luck on your journey to success!
