The Journey is the reward

I'm a big fan of the Olympic games. The 2 week event is perhaps the most inspiring example of the human spirit - athletes committing years of their lives, making countless sacrifices all to be able to perform at the highest level on a world stage. Then giving their all in their moment at the games. Win or lose, the JOURNEY is the reward.

As I begin my learning here at WA (thank you Black Friday promotion!), I'm reminded of the need to enjoy the journey and not make life all about the destination. For me, this venture is a starting point in a personal reinvention after 3 decades of work that ultimately was unfulfilling. I look forward to meeting new people and discovering new ways to earn money while providing something of value to the world. Let the games begin!
