How can Tumblr Immensely Increase your Website Traffic?

Tumblr is a micro-blogging and social networking site created in 2007. As of June 2014, Tumblr has hosted close to 200 million blogs! That's a ginormous amount of blogs if you ask me.... Just think of how many people are reading those blogs and re-sharing them to all of their friends?
That's the whole point of Tumblr anyway, to re-blog something you find whether it be an image, a quote, article, even videos can be found on there..... For some unknown reason people LOVE re-blogging on Tumblr more than any other social networking site (including Facebook). And the coolest part about it, is they're all TARGETED people interested in whatever your niche is. Thats like having hundreds, even thousands of TARGETED visitors to your site. Haha I like how you used the word "coped." I think every social media site has a general audience, so you might not use every one for the same website. Currently I use Twitter, G+, and Tumblr but as you already know spending an hour or even 30 min every day implementing social media can be very tedious and time consuming. I try to set aside at least 10-15 min per day using one of the social media platforms this way I'm getting posts/followers/likes/rewteets/favorites all handled at least 2-3 times per week, that comes out to about 30 min (give or take) per week using each social media platform.
I know this is true from personal experience. I previously have a tumblr blog related to my niche, with just over 2000 followers, and around 300 posts/reblogs myself. This tumblr account is almost 2 years old though. I joined WA about 3 months ago now. I shared a couple of pages from my new niche site on my tumblr, and the traffic increased like CRAZY. Sadly, the tumblr and site are not "connected" because I made my site almost 2 years after my tumblr...
Does anyone know how to "connect" them?
There isn't a way to directly connect your Tumblr account to your website that I know of but I use the "Shareoholic" Plugin. You can place the icons on any page you wish and once you create a new post you can share it to any social media platform you like. On my Tumblr profile I have my website domain listed as well so if anyone finds interest they can click on it too. There is also the "Digg Digg" Plugin which does the same exact thing except the social media icons look a little different. Hope this helped a lil bit
Use Jetpack plugin on your Wordpress site and it has an easy connection tool for your social media and Tumblr accounts. It will automatically share your new post with your Tumblr audience, Google Plus or Google plus page, Facebook, Twitter, and more.

Left you a comment on this post. I find it very useful even though I have had a hard time find many likes or (notes) that you are suggesting. Also the side S. Media buttons cover up some of the words as I am reading the posts. I am on a PC not mobile.
