The 30 minute writting challenge and why I will be doing this more often

So I took the 30 minute writing challenge yesterday and was amazed by how much I got done in only 30 minutes. I finished writing one post which I had been meaning to spit out for a while now and got started on a book review of one of my favorite books.

I didn't post the article until a bit later, cause I wanted to add a featured image as you can see if you click on the link. And I didn't have time to add the pic yesterday as I had to leave for my other job.

But looking back I have to say the 30 minute writing challenge is a great tool and here is why:

- if you don't have much time, it's a great way to get a little work done in a short time.

- it gets your creativity flowing, you are on the clock so you just write and don't think to much about getting it "perfect"

- you really can write a lot in 30 minutes

- it's a great way to take a break if you get stuck and need a little change of mental scenary (often just letting our mind do something else for a while helps us focus better)

So next time you want to challenge yourself, find a cure for writer's block or just let your creativity flow, take the 30 minute writing challenge and surprise yourself.
