How it all began

In 2015 I was struggling through life on welfare benefits and couldn’t see a way out. I had been forced to retire early (at just 35) from my job as a child protection social worker due to ill health and couldn’t see how I was going to survive.

Feeling Lost

I hated being on benefits as it made me feel trapped and hopeless and stripped me of my confidence. I always knew deep down that I was destined for greater things but had no idea how on earth I was going to turn my life around. I was living in poverty and relying on the kindness of family and friends to cover my bills. I was also totally socially isolated due to my illness and had become a bit of a recluse.

I decided late 2014 that the only way forward for me was to become self employed and so I set about trying to set up my own business using my social work skills. I did my business plan, spoke to local charities about how best I could support vulnerable people and had a good idea of where I was going. Unfortunately I was unable to access any funding for my project, despite there being a desperate need for services. Again I felt disillusioned and lost. Back to square one.

The Universe Heard Me

But then the Universe intervened. It saw I was trying and what I wanted to achieve and so it presented me with an opportunity. I was scrolling through Facebook one night looking for second hand furniture and I stumbled across and advert to make money online. I contacted the lady who explained all about how I would simply advertise products on my Facebook profile, make sales and earn money. The potential was enormous I was told and it all sounded so simple so I signed up there and then.

Obviously it wasn’t that simple at all. I earnt nothing and went back to feeling useless but not for long. I decided that if other people could make this work then there was absolutely no reason why I couldn’t too. So I watched every training video I could find (all the free stuff because I was still broke) and absorbed it like a sponge.

It made me hungry for me more. I got excited. I really felt this was the answer to my prayers. It took a lot of hard work on my part and I really had to commit to connecting with the right people and one day my mentor came into my life. I didn’t understand what he was teaching me at first but I went with it and the more I learnt, the more I implemented it, the more results I started to see. Now they weren’t financial results for a while but I was building more relationships and gaining knowledge so I felt confident success would follow.

Now I should also mention that I hadn’t been active on Facebook for over two years prior to starting this so I had zero presence. However, I followed all the trainings my mentor gave me and built up my friends list as well as a group which now stands at just under 1300.

Finally Getting Results!

In June 2016 I had my biggest month ever where I earnt over £1000 in month. I felt like crying because all the hard work it was paying off. Everyone, including my partner and family, had doubted whether this could work and finally I had the proof that it did.

I am now a Gold Ambassador for Networking Superstars, have a team in my primary opportunity, a training group and have sold many affiliate products. I host and co-host webinars on a weekly basis and people come to me for help. I finally feel like I have found my purpose again and my mission is to help as many others as possible strive and succeed at building a future of abundance and financial freedom.
