Continuing Education and Online Business Presence

Moments in life will have us all pivot. There is still a need for brick and mortar type of business Yet we have had a growth of the online world. It is new in some ways and not new in others. In fact, a kid who was born in the 80's and has been classified in multiple studies to different groups Gen X or Millennial you sometimes can feel like someone who is born in an in between generation.

What does this mean? Well my parents are of the boomer generation nothing wrong with that at all. Many of them not all have had stable jobs that have lasted for longer period of time then most people even today. Most people in fact are looking for the next best thing. So how does this relate to continuing education and the online presence.

First, I am one who did get a MBA and that was no easy task. I've been told by some that it is an obsolete degree and others who see it as I benefit. However, you are in such a high competition rate that it can be hard to get your foot in a door. Needless to say what ever area of study it can leave us doing less than what we have study for in school. For me it was customer service and oh how I disliked it. I'm a people person but when you constantly get complaints it can eat at you.

Now this is not to say that I have not held a cool job. I was a cashier at Sea World of Texas and loved being a cashier there but that was my first taste of a job. One of my favorite areas for me was marketing when I got my MBA. So I've been doing research for a while and am finally with the last ounce of me learning a new and yet old skill. Old in that I understand the concept of marketing and new that we are building to an online presence in ways that were not even possible at some point.

No matter degree or no degree if you are willing to be able to find something you love and risk it well we continue the learning process. I have taken several courses and it is always the big upsell that disappoints so to find something that is real and educational. To know that you are not alone on a journey that you don't fully understand the world yet. As you become an expert it still helps to have support.

Yes there needs to be consistency and reality, but there does not need to be reinvention of the wheel. You have others who have been where you are starting out. This community has so far been so caring and reaching out. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do as I grow and try my hand at affiliate marketing.

From building a website, funnels, social media marketing. Anyone has a chance to make it.
