The Power of the Blog
Now we have seen the power of the blog, not just to make a statement or give an opinion, but here on WA you can actually go through the lessons and learn how to monetize your blog! I would love to say my blogs are making money but they have been on topics that I am passionate about and at the time of publishing it was for me, I have always been an advocate for social change and informing my readers of issues that have great statistical data and proactive moves that everyone can relate to and do.
I remember after superstorm Sandy people lost everything and power was out in most places but I was fortunate and maintained electricity so I had a local blog with a good following and kept updates on different areas where they could go to stay warm, charge cell phones and even bring pets.I worked with the Red Cross who asked me to keep posting updates, Reminders to check on the elderly and neighbors.List where the warming stations were and even worked for 3 days with the local police force to inform folks what was going on.It was like back to the stone age.
So I had undertaken a great deal of responsibility but I operate on the premise of paying it forward and I ended up getting a commendation from the City Mayor and got to know a lot of police officers who thanked me for plugging away ,fueled by lots of hot chocolate and the knowledge that we saved a few lives. Just another day LOL peace

Yes a blog can be a very powerful tool many uses plus it gets you used to writing good content, Give me a niche or topic and I can blog on it I do a lot of research I am a grant writer and can knock out a good blog in a half hour now I will start one I can monetize if you would like to see some https://aboutme.sandra0214

Even the first paragraph was compelling, like settling in to a good novel! This is an excellent skill to have, I'm envious! I'll be practicing as I get all of these new things in order.
