5 Warning Signs of Online Job Scams
I have been working in the same field for 16 years, and while I love my job, it really only allows for my bills to be paid and not much more. I wanted to provide more for my family. I have been looking for something that will enhance my income and enhance my life. Through this journey I have come across many failed opportunities and many scams. It is so easy to look for that easy money; that will make all of your dreams come true. Most of these make money quick schemes are trying to entice you to pay for a member ship and then just find a dead end. Take a look at the warning signs below, to prevent yourself from the heartache and disappointment.
1. Companies that are LEGIT will state their company or name.
What you will find with get rich quick schemes is that they won’t state what company they are with and contact information. The reason for this is because they don’t want you to know who they are, so you can’t come after them for what most likely is fraud. If you don’t see a company name or contact info, stay away!
2. Stating a certain amount of MONEY to be made.
Never fall for a website that says you can make $500 a day. A real online income shouldn’t state how much you can make. Making money online will always depend on how much work that you put into it. Don’t be swayed by the big numbers. One quote that I have heard recently…. “Success doesn’t have an elevator; you have to take the stairs.”
3. Do a search on GOOGLE to hear other people’s experiences.
I have spent many hours on Craigslist trying to find new opportunities. One of the first things that I will do to see if a company is legit; I will do a search to find reviews on the site. Most of the time, you will find some information regarding their reputation
4. BEWARE of sites that want you to sign up for a membership without any knowledge of the program.
Many sites will entice you to watch a video to show you the life that you can have if you try their program. The entire video is nothing more than smoke and mirrors with a finale of asking for a membership fee. They will show you this amazing program, that you still really know nothing about, if you only sign up for a low monthly fee. They want your money and nothing else!
5. The site shows you pictures of CHECKS or bank statements.
Any site that is showing you snap shots of proof of money, there typically is no money to be made. Like #2, people are trying to entice you by visuals. They are trying to make you think that this can be your bank statement. The reality is that these bank statements and checks are a false and they just want to make a sale.
While in search of my vision I have discovered a system that has been amazing! Something I never thought I would find. In my journey, I found a company that not only has amazing training videos with a step by step process on how to own and operate a website! Wealthy Affiliate has amazing owners and a wonderful community of people just like yourself that want to succeed online. I have been exploring the blogging world and found what I was looking for. Wealthy Affiliate was just what most people need to build an online income. My husband and I are now on our way to online SUCCESS!
