Thanks for reading my profile. Like most here, I came to WA with one goal in mind. I wanted to build an online business. A business that I could run from anywhere and enjoy. That dream is still alive and I believe that WA provides the needed tools to make it happen.

I have been in the consumer products world for over 20 years and business-to-business world for 10 years. Internet marketing however is my passion and it is here that I feel that I can contribute and help others reach their goals.

Like many here, I believe that helping others is a vital part of being successful. So if I can help you in any way, please let me know.

I'm setting a goal of $5k per month within a year's time. I'll do weekends and add content daily after work to achieve this goal.My biggest problems are wanting to jump ahead and a reluctance to ask questions. So (big gulp here)..I'll stay focused, stick with the training and ask questions when needed.

Hey there Lynwood and welcome to Wealthy Affiliate. It is great to have you here and I definitely look forward to working with you. My suggestion to you is to take action on what you learn as a good deal of the actual learning will take place during the action? phase.

Getting started is easy here at WA, we have a step-by-step course dedicated to walking you through getting up and running here:

If you have any questions, give me a shout. :)

Kyle:
Thanks. I just upgraded to premium because I think you have something here. I have two quick ideas to run past you for your feedback. I earned over $15k years ago through clickbank but I was using pay per click for about $10k. Unfortunately I have never been able to gain organic traffic. I think your program will help me tremendously. If you'd be so kind as to provide feedback on my two ideas that would be very helpful. Here goes:

1) The first is a personal website built around my hobby of flying RC airplanes and quadcopters. Like most people in the hobby, I have spent way too much money on airplanes that crashed. For the last year, I tried quadcopters (drone-like craft) and I have not crashed a single one. I also started this week with having a camera mounted on a quadcopter..the unit sold for $150, so cost is the same as a regular plane. My plan is to start a website discussing how quadcopters are better. You get the fun without the headaches. I plan on posting aerial videos and linking in with Amazon for the quadcopter. As I gain more experience. I plan on taking risky but enticing video footage like flying above waterfalls, etc.

2) In my regular job, I am currently a director for a business that averages about $10-$15million in sales a year. The company is a spin-off of DuPont and we have several senior level managers who came for DuPont. We have a doctorate in chemistry working for us and I have over 20 years experience with Procter&Gamble; and Corning, Inc.

We make a very wide group of products that we resell to other companies(the current website is: www.xymidllc.com). We have a 50k plus square foot manufacturing plant running at about 50-60% of full capacity. All of our sales are business-to-business. We find a partner who can use our products as a component in their product. We usually sell exclusively to one company. We are technology driven, having about 60 US patents. The thought here is that my company, Xymid would offer our assistance to entrepreneurs who have new product ideas. We could charge a relatively small fee to access and provide feedback and a marketing strategy from experienced managers on the ideas submitted ($99 for example). We could also provide manufacturing and distribution support for products that have market potential. Actually having you guys have a role in this would be great since you have the Internet side figured out. There is an absolutely huge market of would-be product entrepreneurs who are being taken advantage of by companies that are only offering "Inventor help". Few of these companies have any real experience in actually making and selling products. We do..We have done this for 10-15 years.

Your feedback on the above would be very helpful.

Thanks
Lynwood

It sounds like you have a lot of experience Lynwood and I know it won't be long before you are leveraging much of your B2B experience and natural entrepreneur spirit within the online world.

I love your idea on the quadcopters and I think that direction would be an excellent one because it is a passion of yours and something that you are interested in.

At this point, we are not taking on any new projects (as we have our hands more than full at the moment), but you are definitely going to learn the principles here that will allow you to take your idea for an inventor service and convey it within the mass world we know as the Internet.

If you need anything along the way, let me know and I will give you a hand!
