One of my biggest mistakes that I have made when following trends is literally copying them. I would recreate videos almost exactly the same , thinking that was the right way to do it. But instead of standing out, my content just blended in

Another mistake I made was joining trends too late. I would wait until something was clearly viral, only to find that by the time I posted it, people were already over it. Timing is really everything , and being late can affect engagement more than I expected.
I also used to jump on every trend I saw, even if it didn't fit my niche. That left my content feeling inconsistent and a bit confusing. Now I know that not every trend is meant for me - and that's okay.
Lastly, I underestimated the importance of quality and intention . Just because something is trending doesn't mean I should rush through it. I have learned more to be more thoughtful with how I create, even if I am moving quickly.
Looking back, these mistakes were part of the process, but they taught me something important: It's about being strategic, authentic and true to what I am building. And once I understood that, everything started to click
