Hi Sahida,
Well I live in Thabazimbi and drive through Brits when I go to the city. We are blessed to be surrounded by wildlife and I agree Hartebeespoort dam is beautiful and one of my favourite places too.!
Keep pushing through and don't give up on your dreams.

Greetings
Ann

Thank you

Hi Sahida,

Looking at the image above with the flags - interestingly enough the one at the very left is Czech and the one next to that is Slovakia and that's where I am coming from :)

It is a small middle European state with about 5.5 million inhabitants.

It used to be Czechoslovakia until 1993.
I used to live close to the border with the Czech Republic (or Czechia), in a small village with about 600 inhabitants, close to the city called Trencin.

Although I moved to a larger city called Trnava, which is about 70 km south of Trencin.

I am might add some images as well.

Thank you Mike! It must be shivering cold in winter but the pictures are beautiful.

That sounds awesome, Sahida! I'm oringally from the Great State of Texas in the US! For the last 36 years I have resided almost 40 miles form the Geographic center of the Continental US in the State of Kansas. My little town of Junction City is located next the the US Army base called Ft, Riley. There is the largest reservoir in Kansas located about 3 miles from where I live. The town is quaint and quiet most of the time, and has been known as a "tree City" U.S.A.

Thank you that is awesome. Never seen a military in real life only in movies and news

You're very welcome, and I'll see aobut finding an image for you!

Sahida this is very timely as we have begun the Winter Olympics for 2022.
Seeing all the flags marching in unity gives one hope for peace on earth and goodwill toward all men.
I'm and American living in Texas, though raised in Michigan.
I've traveled and lived in Italy and long stay in Japan.
I have immigrant grandparents from Greece and Serbia, and have been to both, as well.
English and Alsatian from my other...
I enjoy all the ethnic differences. They add flavor to life.

Thank you that is very exciting. I wanted to see the countries and food in the world but never had any opportunity. So I made a website of different countries and there food has my niche. One day my dream will come to visit different countries with my children.

Thanks for sharing that Sahida. I currently list in Southwest Florida in the USA. I am Australian and moved here with my American husband about 8 years ago. Australia is a very beautiful and rugged country and I love it. I lived and worked in most capital cities - Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane. They are all different and each has its own beauty. Florida is a great place to live, too. There are many beaches and lots of sunshine.

Thank you I would like to hear ,ore about Australia and its culture if you don't mind

Australians, or "Aussies" as we like to call ourselves, are a great bunch of people. We are quite casual and love a good joke. Australian culture is similar in many ways to American culture. We love the great outdoors, either bushwalking or beach hugging. Surfing is a great pastime - my son loved surfing and spear fishing.
The Great Barrier Reef is amazing and everyone should visit it at least once in their life.

There is a famous poem by Dorothea McKellar that describes australia beautifully. It is called My Country and the particular verse I love is:

"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jewel-sea,
Her beauty and her terror- the wide brown land for me!"

Hope you enjoy reading about this.

Thank you
