Please give me your opinion on your experience with the Bootcamp training vs. the Certification training.

I'm looking to make an extra 2,000 - 4,000 extra a month to clear up a bunch of bills.

I know the training at WA is the long haul and I'm willing to persevere in exchange for the excellent knowledge and the longevity of my websites.

But, I am stressed, stressed, stressed.

I've been slowly working on the training and building a weight loss website. I've gotten to a place in the training where the lessons are asking for more posts and linking to affiliates.

My issues.

I don't have any experience writing so the posts are taking days to research and write and I feel I'm going at a snail's pace.

The linking to affiliates has me panicked because from what I understand, if I don't make a sale within 5 to 6 months, the affiliates can drop me or charge me a 1.00 each pay cycle until I make a sale. I don't think I can make a sale that fast. I still have more training and have not promoted or know how to promote my website.

So, I'm wondering if should shelf the weight loss website and go the Affiliate Bootcamp route. The training seems easier. I don't have to hook up to different affiliates and worry about making sales.

Thank you

Luba

You will, of course, have to make your own decision, but I personally I am adding the bootcamp training and building a WA referral website to my daily tasks. I looked at the following points.
1. WA is an established and growing company
2. They pay decent commissions
3. They have new members joining all the time
4. They provide value for money
5. They don't give us hassles.

Considering these points I would recommend doing the bootcamp program and building WA referral website, but not to neglects the certification courses, as they provide the basic training. As to your writing ability, keep practicing and you will get better at it. Write regular posts to build your audience.

Hello Peter, thank you for taking the time to read and respond. I value and appreciate any and all feed back.

I had the same thoughts, so I started the bootcamp training and will still add some time for my other website,

Great question Luba. I also have the same problem. I'm so glad you asked so now I can get some advice.

Hello, Siza, The consensus has been to do what I feel I need to do with some saying it might be best to go the bootcamp way. I think I am going to give it a go. If it doesn't work out I always go back to the Certification training.

Hi there
its hard for us to make a decision for you that would really suit your needs
i see that you have gotten good information down below...
If you could work on the two websites that would be ideal, but I also know that that is a lot of work
Best wishes
Cheers PB

You will find that the affiliate products themselves, if you go the actual owner's sales page, will offer you a direct affiliate agreement, without all of the 'produce or pay' stuff. the problem is that a lot of the products are managed through the big sites, such as Clickbank, Commission Junction and the like.

Just go to the actual page and search for affiliate link (usually at the bottom) and read the agreement. They want to make sales and will help you with creatives, copy and a lot of great ideas about what to write!

Hi Mickey I was not aware I could go that route. Thank you for taking the time to reply and offer your advice.

2

Yes, go whatever route you need to to achieve your goals.

Please let me know if you need something else addressed!

The certification really lays the foundation of affiliate marketing, so if you came to Wealthy Affiliate without any knowledge of how an online business operates, you may get lost with the Bootcamp program. You only joined in March, Luba, so you really need to give yourself time to learn, develop, and implement what you've learned. That will not change, regardless of which program you decide to complete first.

Bo seems to really know his stuff, so hopefully he can provide you some specific guidance.

Hi Veronia, Thank you for taking the time to read and reply.

I'm just getting frustrated, worried and overwhelmed. I don't want the affiliates I joined to dump me because I am not selling. Maybe my being overwhelmed and freaking me out. It just seems to be an uphill battle for me.

2

Worse case scenario, Luba, you can always reapply, or apply to different affiliates. There are thousands to choose from.

3

You have to research your nice with keyword to see the profitability and the demand related to the supply.

Hi Sam, I have done research and am using low hanging fruit key words

Thank you for reading and replying

It depends on what you like and want to do. If I had to pick one for me in this case I would go with the affiliate Bootcamp but I like affiliate marketing. If you want to Private Message me I will see if I can help shed some light on it for you.

Thank you Bo, I'll PM you.

Patience is key. Do the site which you think will give you a higher percentage of success initially, and then you can create another site which may take longer. This is my opinion. I'm interested in seeing what the other community members advise. Good luck

3

thank you for your opinion. I was thinking the same if bootcamp doesn't take as long as the certification
