Signs and shiny objects

Well, I made the leap to premium. Whew. It was a large leap. I have been looking at shiny objects a lot in the past few years. You know, the ones promising a grand future with minimal effort. It's easy to get swayed by those objects but, in the midst of all the blather, some quiet little signposts started to light the way for me. First one sign then another and another and, even though the shiny objects were still louder, the signs became more noticeable. Oddly enough, the last shiny object I was doing research on lead me to a blog called "One More Cup of Coffee" which was a sign to a place called Wealthy Affiliate.

To back up a bit, I want to elaborate on the shiny objects and why I was following them. It's been a tough few years and I am in the midst of a pretty major life rebuilding phase. I was looking for ways to supplement my income and to, maybe, transition out of a career that had become lifeless. Searching for new opportunities was a new idea for me and quick success schemes came at me lightening fast. Every time I signed up for a free e-book or webinar, I was, then, bombarded with offers to work with me or for programs designed to get me from 0 to millionaire in no time at all. It is all very exciting but each time I would dig into an offer, the shine turned into brass and I ran away.

So, after seeing some signs that turned out to be golden,I have found my way here. Will this be a golden egg? Only time will tell but I am committed to utilizing every advantage and tool offered here to make my dreams come true and, I think, this might just be the best sign yet along the way!
