If you do what you always did you will get what you alway got
I will be the first to stick up my hand and acknowledge that if Wealthy Affiliate measured their member ranking system on Procrastination, I would replace Kyle as number 1.
In my younger years I was an above average sportsman and had a slightly above average IQ (hopefully I still do). I was lucky enough to be naturally gifted to play first team sports and pass each standard without putting in too much effort. I attended sports practices, did the minimal homework to ensure I did not get detention, but I never put in the extra effort.
This may sound like a blessing, and it was in many ways. But looking back now I see how it has hampered me in my adult years. Since leaving school, I have just expected things to happen for me - that dream job will come, I will run a sub 40 min 10km, I will help change the world.
This is by no means meant to be a depro post. I have lived a good life in the last 10 years. But I know I have underachieved. I know I have more to offer this world.
This brings me to Wealthy Affiliate. I have been a member for over a year. In this time I was constantly telling myself that tomorrow I will start. When tomorrow came, I would tell myself the same thing. Rinse and repeat.
Last month I sat myself down and gave myself a thorough talking to that I need to change. I now have my first website - www.dogfoodreviews.co.za.
I have geared it towards the South African Market as that is where I am based. And I have set a target to have a second niche website up and running by the end of December.
In December we are moving as a family back to the coast. I am looking forward to the new life with my new mindset, and although I do not like breaking up time in to years, I look forward to what will happen in 2019.

Wow! That is quite a procrastination in terms of your membership for a year. But I tell you something, there are people who have made it to the frontline only to be overtaken by those who started later. The run or the walk is our journey towards our goals.- Our destination. Let us not compete with anybody but let us compete with ourselves using the philosophy of KAIZEN, a Japanese one, it means continuous improvement! I wish you all the best.
