Your Driving Force To Financial Independence

Having the desire or hard work is easier said than done when it comes to financial independence. I have so much determination and resolve to seize the pinnacle of what other people call Success. I'm not there yet, why? What am I missing? Just thinking of these things makes me and perhaps other people, to just throw in the towel and forget about it, give up and live a stress-free existence.

But I thought, wait a minute, isn't financial independence aiming for freedom, and freedom equates the state of being free from myriad of things - free from the power of something or someone that can dominate you, your time, your mind, your heart, your existence. Lastly, freedom is the absence of necessity, which strikes to the core of my quest for the elusive dream..

I realize that having to work because "I have" to or "need to" is more stressful than "whenever" I want to. The former is what my goal in the next two to three years. Setting my mind to that aspiration is formidable to get me through the hurdles in this journey.

What about you? What is your driving force or inspiration to achieving what a few have already attained.

My driving force is that I wish to leave my other work behind.

That's great, Mickey. I'm with you on that.

My driving force is a desire for success and achievement and having a great feeling of success that I did it! Thank you for sharing!

My wife!

Yes, the good choice should be for all husbands.

Hi Richard,
My driving force is needing a little extra cash a month. My husband and I are on a fixed income and sometimes it's just not enough!! :)
Donna

That's my ultimate goal too, Donna. I'd like to replace my fixed income totally in the next 2 to 3 years. It's a tall order I know, we might as well dream big, it's free and possible with WA.

We should have control over how much money we make, and not having money control over how much we should work.

Thanks for sharing.
