if I have been making the 47 dollar payments and something happens like losing a job or hours being cut and I cant afford to pay what happens to me where do I go from there can
Hey rwhitson12:
That is a fear that resonates deep within. I don't know how far along you are in WA, nor what you've done. But, my hope and plea to you, is try your darndest to build your website traffic, get new keywords to funnel thru Google, You Tube, etc. Try more affiliate sponsors. I will admit that I am new to this and still learning as I go along.
I also have to say: think of the reason why you came on board to WA - I guess to gain revenue. Stick to your initial gut and do your best to move forward. Hope this helps. Join me at my spot, I'll try and support yours too -- www.addicted.siterubix.com

Just continue applying what you learned here. Your local Library or Amazon carries a few affiliate books to learn more. Keep adding content to your site with a mix of products. Good luck.
If you decide that you can't continue you have 30 days to move your site/s to alternative hosting. You can talk to Kyle or Carson and arrange to open a new starter account, but obviously although you would have access to a lot of resources you wouldn't have access to the premium ones and after 7 days you wouldn't be able to communicate with anyone. :) Beverley
Fingers crossed that it doesn't reach to a stage of financial crisis. However, in the event of the inevitable happening, I believe some of the suggestions on here could help you bounce back. I usually portion off a fraction of my money, and keep regular tabs of my expenditure. I'm not trying to be condescending here, but money management is quintessential when signing up for monthly subscriptions. Although of course I do understand that things can happen that we have no control over. Perhaps if you haven't already reviewed a system which helps to keep some money aside for WA monthly payments?
Hey, I hope I can help. I've been there before. I actually had to stop making the payments. It wouldn't let me log in anymore, not even to the starter membership, until I made payments again. I also wasn't able to get into my sites, and eventually lost them. I didn't get them back when I resubscribed either. If you guys have gotten far on your sites I would try to keep making payments. If you need help monetizing them you can message me or almost anyone on here and I will try to help you as much as I can.
I don't think you can downgrade to starter after going premium. You have already started to enjoy the premium benefits and have probably started developing your site. I presume it will be difficult for them to reset your privileges again, reset your website? Doesn't sound likely. Money is tight sometimes, but if they let people downgrade, you know it's going to be abused. You can set a goal to save up $15.00 every week toward your monthly payment. You can also seek help to monetize your site (as suggested by spenney7), so you can start earning some money off your website.
Best wishes, I hope something works out for you.

Spenney do you know if you can transfer your site to another host before you stop your payments if you weren't able to make the payments anymore?
Kadillac, I'll be honest, I do not know a lot about designing WP sites or hosting (which is why I am a member here). I have spent years learning marketing techniques, so I would be of a lot more help with that subject, but I did find an article online about transferring below:
https://support.hostgator.com/articles/hosting-guide/website-transfers/how-to-transfer-your-wordpress-blog-from-one-host-to-another-host
I'm not sure how much hosting costs with other programs, but I have heard that hostgator is good. I personally like WA because I can get UNLIMITED websites for one flat fee. It makes the monthly fee look a lot cheaper when you have as many passions as me :)
Hmmm I'm great at designing and can figure out hosting and whatnot it's marketing that I'm having the problem with. Perhaps we can scratch each other backs lol ;) I'm not leaving here anytime soon I was just curious.
I've been here for a while and wondered the same thing.. I'm not sure if one can 'downgrade' from premium to starter membership. I would recommend sending a PM to Kyle or Carson and asking them directly...

Maybe start doing SwagBucks if you don't yet. While I don't make 47/mo there (I make probably 25-30/mo), I know that some people are able to. I got the yearly premium yesterday, and I'm going to try to partially reimburse myself with SB.
Can u explain to me how u make that much with SB because I've had a account with them forever and I don't fully understand how to make money with it any help would be greatly appreciated thanks......
I do the Encrave activities, sometimes the TV on the actual website, and then the TV mobile app on my phone. The app is where I get most of the SB. It is kind of time consuming and tedious. The key is to fast forward the videos constantly without actually watching them (it would take forever to watch them). I spend probably about an hour and a half per day. Doing the activities and the app at the same time makes it go a bit faster though.
