I am attempting to place images on the top of my web pages and cannot find the right ratio aspect. All images are way to large to fit but when I shrink them down it doesn't see

Just switched to Brickyard and am much happier with this theme!

A theme can make all the difference. Glad you found one you like

That is a great looking image man. Made me hungry. This image is 1280 x 576

That is the idea! haha Hope to build a site that make folks really want to know how to accomplish this easily.

You are off to a great start!

Thank You! Hoping so. Am going to be devoting a lot of time with this dream!

That is what it takes. That and determination

is this one of your own images? What program are you using to try and shrink it?
I use a free photo editor called Photoscape, which lets you input the sizes you are needing. You can also crop the images... well, it basically does everything you will need. Check it out, like I said it is free, and a good photo editor comes in handy! :)

Yes, one of hundreds. lol I will try this! Thanks!

Yeah man that photoscape is great! Thanks again!

Try going into the text part and lowering the number. If not, you may want to try a different theme. I had this problem myself. I decided that it was not worth putting a title picture on my site because of the theme that I was using it would always put it too large. So I took it off.

Thanks wish! that is what I am going to do I think. This site is going to be very image and video heavy so I need simple!

Just wondering if I should switch to a more basic theme for now.

www.allaboutthesmoke.store Don't mind the mess! lol

I have never asked for donations simply because people will usually pay you little or nothing at all - for me it's "this is my fee"

Either you can afford my service or you can't. I'm not here to give away my services or have someone undervalue me through a donation.

Yes and time is money. The videos will not be very expensive to produce and they are going to be live so, no retakes or editing. I want it to be real-time live, virtual. Thanks for the opinion!

I agree with Leo. I just finished a Webinar from one of the
Super Internet people and She said... The Price is the Price... just make sure you can deliver.

I am going to be doing product testing and how-to videos on using and learning to use outdoor cookers and, product test accessories to aide in the processes.

As Tim says, it would depend on what you were offering to do for someone :)

I think that would depend on the service you were supplying Russell

Great question. I wonder if there has been any research done on this.
Seems to me, asking for donations lets the customer/user determine the fair value. Otherwise, it would take some research to determine what the marketplace charges for similar services. Then the problem becomes, is the price too high or too low.

Exactly, the chance of no donations is always there however, if the product and service are of value it may work. I will be selling the products I test on video through Amazon or the like at a set price but the classroom videos would be strictly donation driven.

I bought my own domain name yesterday from 'name cheap' because it was one of suggested ones on here. After the purchase I was informed that I cannot transfer it to WA for six

I think it is 60 days not six months. But that is to transfer the domain name. You can have your site hosted here right now

Yes you are right Dreamer.. But still it had me going for a bit! haha Thanks man.

I buy all my domains at Host gator however by simply changing the name servers I can host them here. They still stay registered at Host gator.

That's what I will do then.. Thanks

Hi Russell,
Yes, I have. I went through GoDaddy. I have to wait until next month before I can transfer...UGH!!! I feel you pain! Have a great day.

You can have it hosted here immediately by setting the nameservers. You can't transfer the registration of a domain name to another registrar for 60 days after purchase.

Ah, I see. Thanks Marion that's a big help!

If it does not work... just sell it on eBay..

Yeah! a brilliant idea. Now mostly people will not easy to convinced to buy a product without a actual video review. Because people mostly prepared to see a actual test to prove that the product is worth it to buy, to spend some money. And if you make a video much more easy to understand what different features of the product can offer. I really like your idea!

Thanks Eric, now its just getting it done!

I like your idea. You can have them give you there email before hand to watch the live video.

That would be a big Improvement in wealthy affiliate. Especially a category like mentors... People with skills... As opposed to people who spend the most time in wa. It is very easy to program even if a junction table is required.

No Russel WA isn't categorized like that but you might try posting a question asking for people in that niche to respond

I might do that. Thanks....

That's cool was just wondering. Thanks Belden I will start the search!

Nope. This is one whole big community.
