It deffinatly will if you put posts in these groups. as more people will the see it.

Thanks for the comment Jason. Sorry so late replying.

Yes, will get more people to see it.

Thanks. I thought so. Now it's time to figure out what to post.

Yes, that is a great way to start. :))

Thanks Kim. Guess I'll be busy learning how to post to groups.

Your welcome. :))

Yes it is! I've gotten most of my referrals from Facebook groups. Google+ and LinkedIn have some good groups as well.

Thanks Terell. What would be some of the best keywords to use when searching for a group in google and linkedin?

If you haven't watched Jay's live training I think you should. Besides everything taught here at WA, I think a lot of people don't take advantage of what Jay offers as well. Here is a great replay of how to use social sites.

Would joining social media "business opportunity groups be a good way to get traffic?

Social media, Google adwords, street articles.

Content with good keywords!

Yes, content is the best, join the social media and peace and other way. Because we don't know which way is the best.

Carla is right, it doesn't hurt. The best way to get traffic to your site is by adding new content to your site. Keep following Kyle's training and use great keywords. If you keep doing that, you will be surprised at how much traffic you will be getting to your site. All the best! :)

Thank You Evelyn.

It can't hurt! There are many groups on Facebook. Make sure you're tweeting. Join Google + if you don't already belong. There are groups on there, too. Ask your friends to share your posts, too. You'd be surprised at the wide coverage you get. Good Luck!

Thank You Carla. I'm still getting used to using Google+ and need to get a better understanding of the other popular social media sites. A few years ago I learned how to get traffic from facebook groups but I don't know if the FB rules have changed since.

I've been putting a lot of time into WA bootcamp and haven't been able to learn social media the proper way. Takes time but I'm getting there. Thanks for the quick response. Much appreciated.

Randy

You're welcome, Randy. As you progress in Bootcamp, you will get more and more on social media.

Why did wordpress stop updating my pages as I make changes?

Have you put in a support ticket? At least you will find out if the issue is at your end. ~Jude

No I didn't Jude but I changed themes and that settled that issue.

Thank You,

Randy

As Marion says, if you have a caching plugin this may keep pages from showing that they are updated.

Clicking on update should refresh the page when you hit view page.

You can look at the top of the screen and enable revisions in the screen options. This will display the revisions in a list below the edit window, then you can verify that the updates were done with the timestamp.

Hi Labman. In screen options, revisions is already enabled. I followed your instructions to the T and still the same results. What is a caching plugin? Where do I find it? I did deactivate all but the SEO plugin and refreshed trying several different options and themes.

Thanks,

Randy

I have run into this occasionally, I believe this is a case of international caching. This is done at the ISP level and their is no way to get around it. Usually this happens when you have satellite Internet connections (not hardwired) you are hosting with WA (from Canada) and are in the US.
Is this the case with you?

Thanks labman. I changed themes and all is fine.

Try refreshing the page. If you are using a caching plugin you may have to disable it so that refreshing works. I had the same problem some time ago and disabling the caching plugin, then refreshing, solved it for me. ~Marion

Hi Marion. I deactivated all my plugins and refreshed and still have the same results. Then I tried a few different themes and still the same outcome. I've been away for a day so I'll get back at it and try again. Maybe it's the "caching plugin" you're talking about. What is that and where do I find it? Appreciate your time. Thanks.

Randy

All your plugins are in the same place so if you deactivated all the plugins then that would have covered it. You may need to check your browser settings as that could be the issue. Let me know your website url so I can take a look.

Thanks Marion. Issue solved. I changed themes.

I have had problems with creating some content and I try to update and it says try again, which I do and it says WP failure, then I loose what I had entered. Now I highlight and right click content and copy before I update, if I remember that is. Lol. Can be frustrating.

Your updates are failing to be recognized after you click the blue publish/update/save draft button? That's odd.

One thing to be careful of is that you don't have multiple editor windows open. Sometimes it can be easy to accidentally overwrite part of your work with a previous version if you've got multiple instances of that draft open. I've done this more than a few times. ;)

Excellent point.

Yes, it's easy to make that mistake.

Hi Craig. Sorry so late getting back here to work on my problem. Distractions galore, sometimes. Thanks for the multiple editor windows open tip. I only have one open but I'll keep that in mind.

All the best to you,

Randy

After clicking on "update", did you refresh the page (Ctrl+F5). That should clear the cache and show you the changed page on the web. ~Jude

Thank you for that.

Its been doing funky things for me as well.

What do I use for the DNS?

Thanks all for your help. Problem solved.

I hope you have gotten this resolved! :)

It depends on what you are trying to do. If you are trying to actually "forward" a domain so that it points to another domain then there is a setting at your registrar for that. You have to open your domain manager where you purchased your domain. If you are needing to change the DNS settings that can be done through your domain manager too. KylieL has given you the settings for the hosting here.

It is more straight forward than it might seem. You need to log into your domain registrar account, select the domain you wish to forward, select the option for "mail servers", or "DNS", exactly how this is described may vary depending upon which registrar your domain is with. Check a tick box, or radio button, confirming that you wish to change the DNS setting away from the registrar's name servers and then paste or type the new name servers (as KylielL quoted below), into the two boxes, i.e. one box for the ns1 and one for the ns2 and click "update" or "save" as prompted. Your registrar will usually confirm that the change is made whilst you are still on the page. Then log off. It usually only takes a couple of minutes, although once the change is made it might take a couple of hours for the change to feed through the system and take effect. I hope this helps. Best wishes

You can see the addresses here https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains

You will need to use both ns1.mywahosting.com and ns2.mywahosting.com

Thanks Kyliel. That took care of it. I read your twitter blog. Awesome. Keep it coming. You're very helpful. I wish you the best!

Domain name is the name of your website. If you are looking for how to enter the DNS to point your new domain name you just purchase. Follow this video.
